When he's usually sitting on 5-6 points, and his team is down 30.

I remember when we tried to convince ourselves that he was going to be Booker's Pippen :-?

Ah the memories. Once every 30 games he'd put together a string of games that would make us think he'd finally turned the corner. His wonky shot would magically be falling, he'd somehow end up with rebounds, steals and block - and everyone would be hopefully that the hamster wheels I JJs head had finally start turning. Ofcourse, he'd follow that small string of games up with another 30 games of awfulness on both ends on the floor as his game came crashing back down, much like our hopes and dreams about JJ ever becoming a start player.

Sucks Ayton got injured...it being an ankle it could be a while, but good that we have C depth now.

I thought Cade getting ejected was pretty weak. He was fun to watch.

Love the energy from Ish and think he's a good emergency wing, but there is no chance he'll sniff the floor in the playoffs like Tucker or Craig would and did last year.

I think that's my biggest area of concern on the current roster is our wing depth. Nader is mysteriously out forever, Johnson is a bit injury prone (nothing serious, but small knocks here and there), which leaves us potentially very thin on the wings if Crowder gets into foul trouble, or another injury occurs.

This is particularly concerning since Bridges and Johnson did not go into the H&S protocols, meaning there is a decent chance they could get COVID before the season is out, or god forbid in the playoffs.

I'd like to add another wing to our rotation to give some of the same things Ish is giving, but at a higher level, and preferably with some playoff experience.

That illusion lasted about 10 games for me. I typically don't like to make rash declarations with young players but after about 10 games I was completely out on Jackson. I got some heat for my 'I think Jackson just sucks' stance I had after that.

He falls into the no man's land for a perimeter player where he's not a good enough shooter to be useful off the ball but if you let him initiate the offense he makes so many mistakes that kills you too. Defensively he had some potential but didn't have the discipline or bbiq to reach the potential.

Jackson was a mistake for sure. One can only think about what might have been had the Celtics taken him and left Tatum for us to swipe. Hindsight being what it is and let's say that happened... does Booker turn into the player he is now?
