CamJ, ASG 3-point shootout champion. I'm calling it now, but better if SunsRback4Good confirms.

I don't know about winning the 3 point contest but he will definitely be in the contest as top THREE finalist. GUARANTEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!

His shooting form is beautiful. He is an sniper but like every specialist from three he has periods of time when he is off...but he is always a threat from distance. The same happened to Duncan Robinson at the start of the season, for example.

That's why he receives so many fouls shooting from three...defenders go hard for closeouts because he has that tag around the league.

I actually did notice the first two possessions he was in the game, they ran stuff to get him open in one corner (miss) and then the other corner (make).

I think that was by design to try to give him an easier shot to get some rhythm and it paid off.

So top 5 if Suns lose 4 or less games over the remaining 34. Hard task though saw somewhere we have 6th easiest schedule remaining so not impossible.

Holy crap I didn't realize the 2007 Mavs won 67 games in the regular season. Crazy that they then got knocked out in the 1st round against the Warriors.
And then the 2015 Spurs won 67 games too. Just off memory I assume they had Parker, Ginobli, Kawhi, Duncan, but I can't think of any other significant player for that team. *Just looked and that was when they got Lamarcus Aldridge, and they had a very deep team with Danny Green, Patty Mills, Boris Diaw, David West, rookie Kyle Anderson. They ended up losing to the Thunder in the 2nd round.

Back to the Suns, it's crazy we started 1-3. I remember opening night we were killing the Nuggets, and then all of a sudden they couldn't miss and the Suns couldn't hit anything. The Blazers loss was embarassing but I knew the Blazers were 1000% dialed in after the Suns smashed them hard in preseason. That buzzer beater lucky Harrison Barnes 3. And then that Ja Morant non-travel call a bit over a month ago. Those 3 games should have been Suns wins (not including the Blazers loss).

That was not a travel. His foot landed in the restricted area when you watch it on video, while the picture that was posted here made you believe it was outside.

The picture frame by frame made it seem like Morant traveled but rewatching different angles to the play justified it wasn't a travel. He made a similar winning shot a week later I believe against the Lakers were the play was almost identical to our game.

How is the foot placement important to the number of steps he took? Pretty sure the last two minutes report from that game deemed it a travel.

I assume he is talking about when Ja Morant took that layup where I posted a picture that looked like Morant released the ball after his foot hit the ground. It's difficult to tell, so I'll give the refs the benefit of the doubt on it. But yeah, I thought teh two minute report from the game said he travelled before even taking the layup.

If it was called a travel in the report it's because of shift in pivot foot just before the drive, which probably happens multiple times per game. I can't see any issue with the number of steps he took or the finish.

Great game by the Suns tonight they played with tons of energy and had a similar feel to game 1 of semis against last years Nuggets team. Both teams ran, ran and ran some more. From a fan perspective this game was entertaining.
