He wasn't this bad. The only thing I can think of is he can't handle the role he signed up for and has been forcing shots. Either shooting too quickly, not getting set on shots, or attacking the basket hoping for a call, but often gets in too deep, and gets those drives blocked. Some of the time guys don't drive the basket, so the pass he would normally make isn't there, and he leaves himself no other play but to force the shot. If he just ran point and played defense, he would be great at the 3rd string point. But his lack of confidence in his shot, sucks, and therefore his shooting is absolutely horrible. I don't get all the missed free throws though. He is simply the worst shooter on our team. Monty has to play him with better shooters if he is going to be any use to us.

Fun game. Loved seeing a lot of Ayton. Really seemed aggressive on offense. Getting to the line as well. Creating his own shots and not passing out. I started it an hour late but had paused it at the beginninig before running errands so still go to see the whole thing fast forwarding through breaks, but being behind didn't want to check the board or box score. Nice to see 20 and 16 in only 24 minutes.

Nice to have Ayton back in form. It was hard seeing him playing half of himself the last two games.

Yep, the 3 foot 5.5 inch version of Ayton is not fun to watch.

Good performance for 3 quarters, we still played Paul and Booker 30 minutes up 35, just interesting.

I think the Payton debate (if there ever was one) is over, looking forward to adding some depth this week.

The ironic part is, we wouldn't have had Elf if we didn't trade Carter for Shamet. So suck it. The other ironic part is thinking a guy that can't shoot but can pass well, will have a good game with a bunch of guys that also couldn't shoot.

48 minutes for the point guard in a game, 52 minutes played by our point guards. Meaning our coach continues to play a poor shooting point guard as the off guard, for four minutes. There is a ton to debate.

Next, why the hell did Johnson get only 18 minutes this game? Another 50% three point shooting night for Cam, and the rest of the team went 6 for 27. Take out Mikal's threes and the team went 4 for 23. We are so lucky we weren't facing ATL or another solid shooting team.

Felt like a practice game. Safe to say JC and Book won't be invited to the ASG 3-point contest. Checking to see if Cam J made it, but for whatever reason they have not announced the participants yet, which looks silly. Why not announce participants for all events at the same time.

BTW, it is sad how injuries can transform so quickly a player even in his prime years.

Dinwiddie is playing terrible basketball for the Wizards, he is not the same player that he was prior to his injury.

Here's to hoping Payne and, to a lesser degree Shamet, can come back soon.
