Great game. Shamet and Payne are finding their groove, Ayton played well, and we got the win. That's basically all I'm looking for at the moment.

Yes, they're the Magic, but they're still an NBA team and we're playing without Paul, Book and Cam. The fact that we're still competitive with our two best players out and our best player off the bench missing too can not be understated. Many top teams in the league fold like house of cards when they're missing just one top player.

Went to go watch Batman so missed the 4th. I'm happy that we pulled it off.

The rest of the league better pray that this isn't the DA and Shamet that we get for the rest of the season and playoffs.

Exactly.

Ayton played a GREAT game. 21 points and 19 boards with three consecutive nice plays in the last minute of the game. He won the game for us.

Shamet has turned the corner and he is already the player that James Jones and Monty Williams envisioned playing for us.

Crowder had a rough game shooting the ball but he was very good at everything else.

Cam Payne....what can I say about him? One of my favorite players in the league.

He plays with HEART and has silenced any doubt about him. His contract is an steal.

Tomorrow's game is gonna be tougher so it was great to win at vlose one in Orlando.

Casting was great. Colin Ferrell was unrecognizable and fantastic as Penguin and Zoe did a very good Catwoman.

Patterson was a different spin and unexpected Batman. There's scene that competely shocked me as it would relate to a Batman, but I'll let you guys see that for yourselves. Dano was also very good as Riddler. I'm surprised he hasn't been on more things, as he was fantastic in There Will be Blood...holding his own with Daniel Day-Lewis.

Very good movie....but long. They could've cut like 30 mins and not lost much.

If this is the version of Shamet we get, not necessarily 6 3s a night, but consistently hitting open looks and playing solid elsewhere...I don't see how any team can beat us over 7 games. We made it to the Finals last year essentially playing the exact same lineups in every series, we never were really forced to adjust much. Now, we can give you 3 or 4 different looks with all the high quality personnel we have. I'm trying to think if I can remember a team being this deep, that you could legit look at your 12th guy (in our case Biz) and say "Yeah, Im comfortable playing him meaninginful minutes in the playoffs"

This is the deepest team that we have ever had, it is not even close.

We have too many players capable to play big minutes on any other team in the league.

Seriously. Biyombo is our 12th man and he'd be starting right now for Golden State, Brooklyn and possibly Chicago among others.

If we get Booker and a 100% CP3 with that Shamet/DA.....it's a problem for the rest of the league.

Someone said in this thread about how Shamet and CamP are playing well now. That's perfect. Since they'll have that chemistry still coming off the bench when we get everyone back. Imagine CamP taking someone off the dribble then dishing it out to Shamet for a wide open 3?

Perfect lol.

Ayton was fantastic in the 1st half but seemed to lack energy in the 2nd half. He saved us at the end.

Payne while sometimes out of control is playing really well for a guy that was on the shelf for a long time.

I think everyone should appreciate how good CP3 really is. When he comes back and Payne as the primary back up we are going to be really good.

Very good movie....but long. They could've cut like 30 mins and not lost much.

Watched it over the weekend....chose the wrong weekend as it was opening and there was a bunch of young teens sitting around me and I don't think they were expecting an almost neo-noir detective film and thought it was a fun Marvel action flick. Their attention span was that of a goldfish and just annoyed the hell out of me and those around me in the packed cinema as they were joking and playing around.

Spoiler:
I thought the movie was really good and I love this Batman take. Reminiscent of the Joaquin Phoenix Joker in terms of the darkness. I do agree that I thought it probably should've finished like 30min earlier. There was a point where I thought it was done but then it just kept going. The teens left probably 10min before the end.

Also There Will be Blood is one of my all time favourite movies. I love Dano in that and as Riddler. Amazing actor although I haven't seen him in a ton of other movies and he does seem to have his signature scream which is in every movie and it does get a bit old. I think he is a little Daniel Day-Lewisy in that he's relatively selective with his projects.

I wouldn't go that far. He's had good games as a starter but I'll need to see more consistency and see how he goes off the bench. The thing with shooters is that run hot and cold and if they don't bring a significantly more to the table other than the shooting then that turning the corner could lead to another corner right back to where he was. But I will say it's encouraging.
