Amazing that we just casually dominated with 3 of our top 6 guys sidelined.

I kind of thought that we'd be the odds on favorite to win it all if healthy. But now I don't even think you need the caveat. Obviously I don't think we could sustain a long term injury through the playoffs to one of our major pieces (Book, Ayton, CP3), but a few games missed here or there during a series really shouldn't derail us.

Said they dont want to admit their wrong and will continue to doubt him by calling him " empty stat" and not much will change as their minds are already made up from 3-4 years ago. EJ also said Booker is trending towards superstar status even though most wont admit it.

Will never forget when a lot of users on this board wanted to trade Devin Booker for Bradley Beal 1-2 years ago.

Nobody knew how good Booker would become especially as a team player that dont focus on just scoring but trusting his teammates. He has come a long way and likely would be a superstar now if we hadn't acquired Chris Paul. We're just too deep at every position for Booker to dominate like he used to and not have a single care. Book loves winning now and will play by the rules as long as we keep Monty around to continue buying into his philosophy.

What he's doing is unprecedented at this point. Currently in two games he has hit all of his 13 shots, all 5 three pointers, and four foul shots. Some players just feel more comfortable starting than coming off the bench as CamJ is another great example.

Even Shamet was good as a starter in addition to Payne, Cam J and Craig. Add McGee and Biyombo. Such a complete team.

Boring game especially knowing the score in advance. I guess only intrigue is if Suns win 5 more to break the RS win record. Bring on the playoffs.

Undefeated this season when the opposition doesn't get more offensive rebounds or shoot 38%+ from 3.

Teams that worry me most are once who hit threes at a high rate which are the Bucks, Heat, Hawks, Warriors, Clippers, and Celtics whom we all lost to. Obviously, rebounding hurts too but we are finally in top 10 overall this season unlike last season. Offensive Reb worry me too but defensive should be #1 priority as OR are separated by 3 from best to worst team.

When you're playing with 4 other ultra competent and high IQ players on the court, to the point where you can just trust them to do their job, it's a lot easier to focus on what you are doing. That's why Craig has looked great and even Shamet when he was starting.

The Bucks and Warriors are the only teams in that group that worry me.

I'm not sold at all on the Celtics right now - they are playing excellent basketball, and they play hard, especially on defense.

But that offense in a 7 game series is going to hurt them. They've also been very fortunate with the schedule they've had.

Really encouraging to see Shamet playing with a chip on his shoulder, with force and energy. All season long he'd been doing this soft JJ Redick impression, made me think that's who he was, sans the buckets. If last night is any indication, maybe all he needed was to play a more aggressive, attacking style of basketball in order to be effective.

I'm hoping that this is a sign of things to come. Whether he becomes useful enough to keep around, or just enough to keep us from giving up assets to move him, we need him to be at least pretty good. Last night was good. Play every game that way, please!

Another solid to great game for Ayton. However, I think the real difference has been the energy that Craig has provided. When you see him playing as hard as he has, it just rubs off. That is not so say we haven't been playing hard, but Craig has raised it to another level. I am most impressed with his rebounding. That is what we need to fix. I think he has shown that if we play hard, we can get rebounds. Ayton was moving and going after rebounds last night like he needs to do every night. That is our only weakness. Hopefully we have it fixed. I hope Crowder and Johnson have been watching.

They really need to bring Crowder off the bench already. CamJo or Craig need to start, I'd prefer Cam personally.

I think most of us love Jae on the team, but his value is really intangibles and vet leadership. He doesn't need to start to provide those things to us. Monty seriously needs to make the move once everyone comes back.

Ayton with 20 & 12 in 24 mins, great stuff!

Solid game all around again. Booker another great game. I said it earlier in this thread but will say it again, anyone who thinks Booker and Lavine even belong in the same conversation doesn’t know basketball. Many Bulls fans seem to have now realize this though and have completely turned on Lavine.

Yeah, I noticed the 24 minutes to compile those stats. Pretty impressive..like 30 and 18 pace in 36 minutes. Many of the top Cs play 32-34 minutes per game, and he does as well sometimes if needed and especially in the playoffs but hasn't even needed to play in the 4th much (if at all) as of late since we've put away teams early.

Now imagine... if he played like that ALL THE TIME. He'd definitely be a max contract guy versus one who got rebuffed for it.
