I thought he played solid defense on both BI and CJ. He was right up in their grill when he was allowed to be on the court. Monty gave more minutes to lesser defenders, who also struggled shooting.

When Book is healthy no way Shamet should even see the floor IMO he brings nothing to this team

I would still try Holiday over Shamet now. Better shooter and defender for us.

Luka's 2 and 3 would be VERY mad with Luka 1 while he made them stand in the corner.

Maybe our coach finally got the point in only playing Shamet for 9 min considering he was averaging around 18 mpg against Pelicans. Only time will tell but hoping Shamets minutes get reduced to 8-10 this series especially now since Booker's back.

I hope he starts hitting 7 3 ptrs a game, on 10 shots or less. Even if in only 9 minutes.

This is true but if you are Craig you can't completely Amber Heard the bed in your few minutes you get.

He didn't. He got one shot, and missed it. It was a good rhythm shot, just a bit outside his range. And then Payne once again threw it to him with a second left in the shot clock. That is on Payne, not Craig. He aggressively went after a rebound, grabbed it. The guys he was guarding didn't blow right by him like Crowder did multiple times. So again, I don't think anyone can say he didn't have a good game. He didn't get a chance like other players continue to get even though they Amber Heard the bed often.

Give him some decent minutes in a row and he will be fine. But I don't understand certain guys getting short leashes and others free reign to mess up. Guys getting 1 minute and then pulled, tend to play on eggshells. The only guy that plays great and then pulled so far has been Holiday, but he still rots on the bench for Payne and Shamet.

Like usual we disagree and saw his short time differently, and he has a short leash cause he hasn't made a shot in a month it seems. Anyways no point me and you going back and forth we will never see things the same way...
