I remember in the 80's and 90's when almost entire playoffs came down to who had the home-court advantage through out the entire thing. We still have 3 games left to win 2, and 2 of those are at home.

All you negative Nancy's need to quit yer b!tchin'.

I was more nervous in the first round because the Pels proved they could beat us on our home court. So far in this series, both teams have just protected home court, extremely well, and good thing is we have two more games at home

Same was said in the Finals after the Bucks tied it 2-2 after game 4 and well…

Bucks figured out the entire Suns weakness by games 3 & 4 and then it was easy for them regardless of whether the game was in Phoenix, Milwaukee, Australia wherever.

Hopefully the Suns can counter the Mavs better than they did the Bucks.

Yeah, it's still scary. I think it's also a bigger advantage when it's just one game at a time rather than having to win 2 in a row.

I remember in the 94 series we took the first 2 in Houston though and then they took the next 2 in Phx. But the home teams won the last 3 (they had HCA).

In 95 we did though and went up 3-1 after 4 and game 5 at home went into OT, then in game 7 it was tied near the end when Mario Elie hit a 3 to pretty much put it away. Good times.

That was one of those years I definitely thought we were the best team in the NBA like 2007. I am not completely sure I felt that way this year even though we had the best record knowing the Bucks were, the Celtics closed the season, and how the Warriors had the better record than us before Green or Curry were injured.

Of course we still have a pretty good shot if we get our act together.

"quit yer bitchin" reminds me of

Luckily, I think we're not the only team with consistency issues. Miami, Milwaukee, Boston and even the Warriors are prone to bad play. Golden State should not have won the game last night but Memphis is a young team that choked hard.

Their main adjustments were starting 3 bigs in Lopez, Porter and Giannis and we simply didn't have enough size. Now we do. That was our problem with them and couldn't counter their adjustments. Crowder couldn't stop Giannis and with Ayton on him they couldn't guard the other bigs either. We tried a little Frank who played well on offense one game but can't play D.

Huh, I thought the biggest adjustment was Giannis lowering his shoulder and being allowed to play fullback for 48 min a game.

So clarity on the events of what happened between Chris Paul's mom and the Dallas fan that was ejected. Apparently it was intentional/ planned!!! :nonono:

What a shi*** thing to do to someone, Especially on Mother's day. Unfortunately it says a lot about Mavs fans and their current franchise.

That's pretty much what his whole offense is predicated on though. He charges into players in the paint like a bull in a china shop and then gets bailed out continually by the refs.

We need to hopefully be paying attention to game film (in any series against them)on how Boston is defending Giannis, as they've been fairly successful in limiting him.

Hopefully, because that would mean we were up by 30 or so.
