Frank Isola ‏ @FisolaNYDN

For what it's worth: Grant Hill, 38 years old, had meniscus surgery on March 30 & played April 14.

Guilty! Didn't really watch it for the plot or the characters, but just love drumming, and it has a fair amount of it. Moreover, I really like movies/projects that show other ways for kids to get scholarships to colleges outside of sports themselves. I feel it just piggybacks the need for music in the schools.

Well, Spurs swept the Jazz tonight and will face winner of LA Clippers/Grizzlies series.

Clippers lead 85-83 with a minute remaining.

I know Clippers are a good team but yes I'm shocked. Last year Grizzlies beat 1st seeded Spurs and I thought this year in playoffs they'll continue to play great ball. I believe blowing the lead late in game 1 really hurt this Grizzlies mentally and is reason they down 3-1.

That no-call push-off on Griffin in OT that turned into a 3-point play really destroyed any chance the Grizz had to win. The NBAs golden child gets 3 to 5 chances for each foul to be called though. I seriously can't stand Griffin's face and attitude, and hope he never really succeeds in his career because of it.

Yeah, I can't stand him to for the most part. But id rather see Clippers going further then Lakers in next 5-10 years because I simple despise the Lakers and their annoying fans.

Series has been super close though. Grizzlies could be up easily. Paul has been clutch and Gay has not.

Does anyone know the answer to this one: I know you can't set a screen while out of bounds, but can you box someone out while you are out of bounds? I just watched Jeffries box Wade out, while both of them were out of bounds. :o

Nuggets-Lakers Laptop Controversy?
May 09, 2012 07:30 PM EDT

Yesterday night, the Lakers lost a very winnable game against the Nuggets on their home court. Many associate this loss with the arrogance of Andrew Bynum or the dominant play of JaVale McGee. But, new reports suggest that the real culprit for the Lakers loss could be a...laptop?

During the final play of Game 5 with just 19.9 seconds left, coach George Karl supposedly used a laptop full of scouting data to gain an 'advantage.' After the game, the Lakers were furious with what the Nuggets had done at the critical stretch. Supposedly, the computer belonged to one of the assistant coaches. According to NBA rules and policies, it is illegal to use such devices in-game and fines can be as hefty as $250,000.

Karl attempted to put closure on the issue by stating that "We have all of their end-of-game plays on a laptop," Karl said. They used this knowledge of the Lakers plays in order to hold off the steaming hot Kobe Bryant, who almost surged his Lakers back from a huge 4th quarter deficit.

Tim Frank, an NBA spokesman said that technically, the Lakers accusation of the Nuggets was "not against the rules." Word of whether a $250,000 fine will be assessed is yet to be seen.

If Deron Williams doesn't go to Indiana he should have his head examined.
