Re: The 2013 Premier League Fantasy Draft Thread
@TASTIC, yeah I followed that last season too. I just preferred either of the other two for "sure things".
@nevetsov, I don't see Rose as a talent question mark. You know what you are going to get, IMO he isn't going to improve drastically over what he has done in the past. Obviously there is the injury question mark, but I don't see that as being an issue. Same will DWill. As for Wall, he could be great, but that isn't guaranteed, he could be as good as previous seasons which isn't 1st round (ok 2nd round, but only just) talent.

Re: The 2013 Premier League Fantasy Draft Thread
Fair enough, I guess just after enduring a fantasy season where half my team ended up sitting out most of the season, I'd be very wary of drafting someone who hasn't played in over a year. To me, that's a bigger risk than a young up and comer who has improved every season.

Re: The 2013 Premier League Fantasy Draft Thread
Looking to trade up this round if my guy is still available. Looking to swap picks in rounds 2 and 3 (picks 24 and 33 on the table).

I knew that D-Will and M. Gasol would be gone, but I was expecting at least one of Horford/Batum/Aldridge to still be available here, F it !
Gotta go with plan B, and plan B is D-Wade

Re: The 2013 Premier League Fantasy Draft Thread
Yahoo! is crazy - ranked 44th? He's crushing his recovery timetable, he fills every cat except for blocks and the Lakers are going to get back to a D'antoni offense with Gasol at C which bodes well for the whole team.
He ranked 7th last year, even if he drops 10 spots he's good value and allows me to be flexible with my roster going forward.
Big Al was tempting though, I think he's going to have a great year and may outperform his draft position slightly.

This was who I was originally going with now that he is the man in Charlotte. But in the end, I had him last year and needed a change.
Also, thought about LA, but for some reason I am just not overly a fan of his.

Actually, Kamen is playing C and Gasol is at PF. But yeah, i figured the closer we got to the start of the season, his ranking would shoot up into the 1st round. Damn you! I was counting on rocking a line-up with Lebron AND Kobe.
As for Al, im not going to say much, but i dont quite trust him this year.

I seriously doubt D'Antoni is going to be playing Kaman and Pau at the same time much. After ALL that last year where he wanted to spread the floor with only one big? I imagine he will mostly play Pau at 5 and let him be the Amare-type finisher inside. He's trying to turn Jordan Hill into a stretch 4...not sure how that will turn out. I bet Pau has some good numbers though.

Jefferson was next on my list. I was expecting to end up with Al, thinking you would take Aldridge and Wall.

Yeah, that how i felt about Kobe. He was ranked so low that i thought there was no way in hell that anyone would reach THAT far for him (besides me). I was crushed, and now my whole day has been s**t.

Well someone better take him and soon! He's getting so lonely there in the green room all by himself!
