It will be hard to find someone who wants Marc here more than I do, but I wouldn't do that trade.

This is OT, but how come when I clicked on the view first unread post for this thread it just takes me to very first page every time? Makes it really hard to keep track of new posts

Bosh with a huge game last night for the lebronless heat. McD mention going after the big FAs this offseason and for me bosh would be number 2 on the possible FA list after of course lebron. Obviously a long shot; but I do think he's the most likely of the Miami big three to change teams this offseason.

I honestly think Bosh is the EXACT player McD should target.

A veteran all star big man with championship experience who you can throw it into inside or step out and stretch the D.

Pass on the Dinosaur Man
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I like Bosh as well. I think people bash on him so much for no reason. Its not his fault that he doesn't score 20-30 a night in Miami when he's the 3rd option. Its not his role to do that.

Plus he's very, very clutch. One of the most underrated players in the league.

It would be great to bring him to PHX on like a 3-4 year contract if he isn't demanding too much $$.

It'd take a max to get Bosh here I reckon, but he'd be worth it. A lineup of:

Bledsoe
Dragic
Tucker
Bosh
Plumlee

With an unchanged bench would be dangerous IMO.

The main reason i would pass on him is what would motivate him to play here after leaving Miami where he had it all?

Bosh doesn't put us in contention.

Good point Diddy. I'd rather go after Hayward. Then see if Dirk has any interest in playing with such a young team. Following year, get Nash back.

I'm inclined to agree on both counts...

With Bosh turning 30 in March, this will be his last "major" contract. Does he want to play in Phoenix in a rebuild is the question. I guess we can pay him more than Miami but so can other teams, and that's IF he doesn't want to take a safer bet at a title contending team.

Probably more important is the fact that I just don't think he's the guy we need to throw money at to be a long-term contender. Let's go for someone younger, if you ask me.

And on a less tangible level, I just don't really get that excited picturing Bosh in a Suns jersey

There's not many PF's to choose from in this years free agency class, getting Dirk on a veteran minimum contract would be great.

I think if Dirk is going to accept a Vet's minimum contract, he'll most likely just stay in Dallas.

I can't stand Bosh, but over the past few weeks I have started to give consideration to pursuing him. But I think you hit on the exact reasons why it wouldn't be a wise. His age should be a considerable deterrent, plus he'll probably be looking for $18-20 million a year to leave Miami, and frankly that's more than I would want to spend. And when it is all said and done, I don't see why any of LBJ, Wade or Bosh would leave Miami.
