Re: Suns Board Fantasy Leagues Discussion Thread
I trust Kerrsed as much as anyone else on here - he wouldn't have rigged it, I trust him and don't question that.
I'd suggest every league use this next year for random generators:
http://fftoolbox.scout.com/draft_order_generator.cfm
Enter every team name/manager/email, and it send it out to everyone - no chance of a fix.

Zero Tolerance wrote:Just a suggestion for next year. Can we have the results determine next year's draft order? It doesn't seem fair that someone who placed 1st last year has to pick 8th this year. I think it's a bit more fair than having a "random" draft order every year, where the commish can just keep hitting the randomize button until he gets a top 3 pick.
This is a terrible idea man...
Draft order needs to be random for sure, I won't play in a league where that order setting is done, unless it's a keeper league.
How is it fair then if someone who placed last is awarded last again?

TASTICS: Loving the backcourt of Harden and Bledsoe and Holiday. I think theyll be tough to beat because theyre all really efficient too. Drummound is going to beast this year, and Harden helps cover his FT%.If Giannis breaks out this season, and Reggie Jackson has the season I think he will, then I dont see anyone beating Team TASTIC.
Mirv:
Westbrook, Klay, Parker, and Matthews. Yikes! That's just insane. As well as Noah and Asik who gets the boards and blocks at elite rates... and the Big Fundamental still going strong. That's a tough team to beat. No significant weaknesses at all either.
Here is where it gets fuzzy for me. In Mirvs team, that awesome backcourt is "either or" right? If he plays Westbrook and Klay he has to sit Parker and Matthews, so you loose their stats for that round. Sure, you get protection case of injuries, but you basically picked great players you might not even actually use instead of picking for other positions where you were still not that strong.

No, you have 9 spots every night. So he can put one guy at PG, SG, G, and SF/Util every night and fill the rest of the spots up with his forwards, etc. The "starters" don't matter and the only way a guy's stats don't count towards your team is if he's in a bench slot.

My favourite team in the premier league?
Mine. I think if Horford is healthy, I can be extremely good. I did a similar "brute force"/BPA strategy when I won the D league. Demarre Carroll being the worst guy in the projected lineup with a bench of Jodie Meeks/CJ Miles is pretty good. Needless to say I'm much more confident about this year than last.

Barring injuries, i think Mirv has the best team in the Premier league.
That is a pretty damn solid line-up!
Mirv
PG - Russell Westbrook

G - Tony Parker
SF - Wes Matthews
PF - Tim Duncan
F - Omer Asik
C - Joakim Noah
Util - Paul Pierce
Util - Nick Young
BN - Terrence Ross
BN - Dion Waiters
BN - Tristan Thompson

Thanks for the praise!! I'm very happy with how my draft went. I took very safe picks with my first 7 (Maybe Westbrook isn't a safe pick tho) and then a few flyers to round out the draft. Ross, Waiters and Thompson could all give me great stats if they're put in the right position.
EDIT: No pressure??
Sup?

Westbrook at 10 is a steal even with the risk involved

I love Westbrook's potential this year. I didn't even hesitate going with him @ 7

In a league without turnovers like we're playing in, he has top 5/6 potential

Re: Suns Board Fantasy Leagues Discussion Thread
Kinda OT. I'm playing a 13-man, 8cat, 2 centers roto league. My current squad is
Guards - Bledsoe, Holiday, Harden, Korver
Forwards - Deng, Markieff, Caroll, Antetokounmpo
Centers - Jefferson, Horford, Sullinger
Any suggestion for my last 2 bench spots? I know I severely lack in blocks and I'm thin on PGs.
Guards - Bledsoe, Holiday, Harden, Korver

2 center league, well you probably want another center with that last pick...your blocks are kind of light and you probably aren't getting 164 games out of Jefferson & Horford anyway (Sullinger's weak on blocks so far).
And definitely another PG too that's going to get some assists. That can be tricky this late in the draft, maybe a flyer on Kendall Marshall? I assume Jameer Nelson and Calderon are gone already, I'd take either of them before Marshall. Stuckey could be there but IDK how many assists he will rack up (though in all fairness, IDK how many minutes Marshall will get).
Just my basic opinion, I didn't spend a ton of time analyzing stats here.

Dalembert. He should get lots of minutes in NY and should be a great source of rebounds and blocks since both their PF's (Amare & Andrea) lack both of those skills.
