Point? TJ was just reacting to that crazy first quarter score.
Ahhh, I get it now.

JTrain wrote:It will be close. I think Westbrook comes back when they are something like 7-16. Durant will probably be another 10 games after that. It depends how the team does with just Westbrook.
I think they slip in at 6 or 7 probably. But it wouldn't shock me if they didn't, especially if those guys take longer than that to get back in.

The Hornets got fouled with 0.2 seconds left going the rim, and the ball release was after that (the clock continued and hit 0 just before the release). Why did they not review it?

A) This was his first good game B) They still lost C) Still isn't worth even close to $8M/per year.

I think he's easily worth 8 million to the right team. And an offense based on penetration from multiple players is the right team. But if letting him go is just the first step in moving towards a more traditional team, I'm all for it.

Ha, I wish. We won't ever be a traditional team with Hornacek as HC with his dual PG lineup thing.
Not saying that Hornacek is wrong, we did win 48 games last season with that system. But I don't think we'll ever see a traditional team under this HC.

I'm not so sure about Hornacek. I think we ended up with the two point guard lineup because there was a firesale on an up and coming guard so we took what was available. I think the same thing is true with the Thomas signing.
When we hired Jeff we weren't on our way to the finals, we were a horrible team with no future that needed to start somewhere. Now we have assets that others might covet. I really think that if the Clippers had a fire sale that made D. Jordan available and if Detroit decided to bail on Drummond we could just as easily gone to the other extreme. Granted, teams don't usually have fire sales involving big guys but you get the point. You could be right about him but it's too early to tell IMO.

As for PGs assets, the PG position is the strongest position in the NBA. Yes there are still teams who would love to have Dragic, Bledsoe or Thomas on their teams but not many imo.
I'm hoping Atlanta is one of them with Teague being inferior to our guards and hopefully leads to a trade for Horford or Millsap.

We won't have to worry about Blake Griffin dropping 40 pts on us.
If Hornacek can get his team to stop playing down to the level of the bad teams they play, the Suns should have a pretty good record come mid December.
