Actually I think Kieff might be the issue here...at least Tucker can stretch things out a bit with his corner 3, but Kieff and Chandler take up the same space on offense and totally cut off the driving lanes for our guards. We had the same issue last year with Kieff next to Len.

I refuse to ever comment on Markieff again until he is off the team. He is not worth my time. Waste of energy.

... and then you did.

Uhh because I was responding to Rsavaj.

I actually like some of things I'm seeing. Intensity on defense seems better and there is at least player movement on offense.

btw...look at the bench. Chandler standing, yelling, cheering. Awesome. 8-)

Warren and Leuer are studs on the bench.

Of course he is. Goodwin went from being premier high school recruit (like REAL high) to being a disappointment and leading Kentucky to not making the tourney for the first time in forever and losing to Robert Morris in the NIT...he had WCS playing with him and Alex Poythress, and all the guys were top tier recruits.

He dropped to a late pick because of this and has never proved himself.

Booker is the opposite. One of the lesser heralded recruits of Kentucky, who's stock rose during the season from his spectacular play, and they get to the championship game.....he does so well during the season to go from not being projected as a first round pick, to being a lottery pick...one projected to be so.

They have been on opposite paths...who do you want to be your SG?

Archie with 7 minutes tonight. I'm concerned about his future with this team, but I bet he gets more minutes next game.

I've tried multiple things and have nothing and I am pretty resourceful usually. So in other words, there is a good chance you are screwed.

Didn't work for me either. I gave up after a few attempts.

Kieff wasn't impressive tonight. Maybe he's a little rusty from spending all summer trashing the Suns.

Really hope Booker gets consistent minutes. Seems like the perfect shooting guard the Suns need. He's a steal for sure. Hard not to get excited with him. We all got excited with Archie though.

Well, considering you have the Morris brothers mentioned in your signature, you indirectly make a comment about Markieff in every post you make. guess you didn't think that one through huh

preseason

that and the coaching staff seems to have a penchant for gimmicky lineups. Such as the duo-brothers lineup and the infamous "yo dawg I heard you like point guards so we will play more point guards while you already have point guards" lineup. So playing the White-Knight backcourt was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

This might be a bold statement after preseason opener, but here it is: I'll be surprised if TJ doesn't average 20+ minutes and 10+ points this season.

I'll have to rewatch the game to check since I was kind of zoning in and out, but it seemed like Bled and Knight kind of sucked together but were dynamite when it was only one of them on the floor.

Somebody needs to post this on the GB and call it the best dunk of the season.
