Don't really feel like doing it again, but go to basketball reference and plug in rubio, bledsoe, and knight, and you'll be surprised. He's really great at a lot of things, but his shooting absolutely KILLS his overall impact on the game and his team's ability to win.

What is Whiteside eligible for this summer? What's his max capped at?

Yeah, Wall is probably the only young point guard I'd trade Bledsoe for.
I cant see why Chicago would do it, tho... but this trade works for me rsrsrs

I agree, Chicago is giving up Mirotic and a first for Knight? Why don't we just do that trade if they are going to be that generous.

I could see some team willing to take on Chandlers contract but a team like Boston is gonna wait to see of they can land cousins first. Houston makes sense as a chandler destination if they move dwight. Maybe a 3 teamer could work where chandler and other parts like Morris or tucker land in Houston dwight goes to a playoff team and expiring contracts and young players or picks back to Phoenix.

Not very good young players though. Here is what Chandler netted in his last trade.
On June 25, 2014, Chandler, along with Raymond Felton, was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Shane Larkin, Wayne Ellington, José Calderón, Samuel Dalembert, and two second round picks in the 2014 NBA draft

Mirotic has been pretty terrible as of late. Scored in single digits in 7 of his last 9 games including 3 or less four times and is shooting 39% from the field.

Knight has been better this year, and they could probably use a PG, which I'm guessing is why they might give up a late first. As bad as Knight has been, Mirotic has been worse, and they are the same age. http://bkref.com/tiny/tgNTj

I don't even think I'd do it. Well, I don't know...but I don't think salaries work out anyway.

One idea that i saw on the trade board (coming from a Bucks fan) was Knight for Henson/Mayo's expiring.

Henson is intriguing to me. He's kinda thin, but athletic and quick. He is more defense than offense. He played great last season (and got a new contract for it), but is only averaging 16 minutes per game due to the addition of Monroe at C and Parker at PF. The most minutes he has gotten all season was a few days ago against OKC (25M) and picked up 8points/6rebounds/3assists/5blocks. It amazes me to see a young kid like that average 2 blocks in only 16 minutes.

I just dont see why the Bucks FO would now want Knight back.

If you guys want to try to make a splash you could offer Chandler, Len, and one of the wings to the Clips for Deandre..

Paul could easily turn Len into a better version of Jordan and in our system Jordan wouldn't post better numbers than Chandler's numbers this season.

Obviously we would make this trade, but Clippers no. DeAndre is one of the best centers in the league and he is signed for the next 4 years.

6. Phoenix Suns (5.3 percent)

With point guard Eric Bledsoe ruled out for the season after arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus earlier this week, the Suns have become an interesting lottery dark horse.

Phoenix is 0-4 without Bledsoe, albeit against a brutal schedule, and 2-11 in its past 13 games. The Suns have famously never held the No. 1 pick, losing a coin flip to the Milwaukee Bucks for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then Lew Alcindor) in 1969, when Phoenix instead drafted Neal Walk. At long last, this could be their year.

Not sure if posted or where else to post it. Just though it was cool to see us finally being acknowledged as a dark horse lottery team.

Yeah, no way for Bucks. They already said they didn't want to max out their backcourt. Plus, McD would look like a complete idiot for trading that pick and Ennis for Knight, and then dumping Knight for cap space that we probably don't need anyway.

I agree, but I'd probably rather have him as our PG than Knight so our young players would develop faster. I'd rather have Bledsoe than Rubio though. With Booker looking solid, I just don't know if Knight was needed. This is hindsight, and Knight has looked good at times vs bad teams like the Lakers or whoever it was when he had that huge game.

But I'm a big fan of everyone being able to shoot as well. I just wish Knight was a little better at shot selection and dribbled less.

Knight may be unneeded with Booker, but I'm not sure our youngsters develop better with Rubio. Rubio may be able to get them more open shots, but that doesn't in reality expand their skill set imo, and his shooting hurts the team's spacing also. I think we need a drastically different offense in the half court.

In retrospect, you'd probably rather have the pick than either, simply because this season is so lost. It's hard for me to get too upset with Knight because literally nobody is performing on this team. Some are performing well for their age, but even then I think it's because of their raw talent. I don't think we're putting them in positions that have encouraged their development or success.

Just read Sarver blames young players growing up on social media for not having the resilience to play better.

We're so f-cked. Our strategy will be trade for a 36 year old without twitter to save the season.

Save the season???

What you mean save the season??

The entire team needs the off season to establish a new system, a new coach and a stud rookie to bounce back.

This season is not for saving.... Its FUBAR.
