Let's hope our rookies get their feet wet in the next game. I am beginning to think we made some mistakes. Let's hope it is not like that, but every single thing I heard about Dunn was that he had no shooting ability at all. Then I see his video and I get really surprised. I see Thon Maker and he seems a man among children in SL. Then Diallo mans his defenders at will with his strengh. Tehn Hield is a hell of a scorer (we already had Booker).
Please Bender and Chriss develop into something good... please, please, please...
Simmons and Ingram I wouldn't even put out there since we never had a chance to draft them.
Hield had a horrific first SL game. He also wasn't a position of need.
IMO, Dunn will be the only question mark. We didn't need him due to Knight and Bledsoe but I also look at it as, Boston passed on him and Philly/Chicago both didn't offer enough to get him. So we're not the only ones who missed.
Guys like Diallo, you take chances on later in the draft. Many teams passed on him too. Same with Maker who people expected a mid-late first rounder. Ended up going in the lottery.
2 games into Summer League shouldn't cause anyone any concern. Let's check back in a few years. Things change when you play actual NBA talent instead of guys trying to make it.
