If we can get TJ Warren to perform like he does and be the 4th best player we'll be a contender.

Len played well but will it ever carry over to the next game?

Well the last five he's played he's had 13, 18, 8, 12 and 18 rebounds.
All of those between 19 and 26 minutes. He has 30 minutes tonight.

1 win away from both a top 5 pick and 8th seed.

Yeah, it's bunched up, but OKC will go on a run sooner or later and jump up into the standings. As for us, we have a pretty tough road the next nine games, before a few easier ones.

Why do we always try to give the game away at the end?

We're young. Do you know why JJ only played 8 minutes? I must have missed something.

Not sure why JJ didn't get much PT. I hate when we try to run the shot clock down especially when we have 2 mins left in the game. It's the Bball equivalent of the prevent D.

Triano like 99.9% of coaches wants to win.
The +/- difference between Warren and Jackson is about 100 points this season.

I know. Just 8 minutes is nothing. Only two fouls and no turnovers. He really changed up the rotation. Suddenly no Monroe and 8 minutes of Jackson. Warren was the biggest + guy of the starters though so it
I think part of it might be that he wants either Booker or Warren in the game at all times but I can't remember if they ever rested at the same time.

Booker, Warren, and no help.
Len always looks good against horrible teams like the Lakers and Bulls.
If we actually had consistent help from Chriss/Bender/Jackson, we'd be a playoff team.
We have a gigantic hole at the 4 and it carries over to the 5.

We have to trade Chriss this year ... before his value diminishes

So is Monroe the odd man out now?
I haven't been watching full games, only highlights and box scores, but before Len received his DNP's, he was really productive. If anyone should be on the pine it's Chandler. I know juggling minutes is difficult for 3 C's, but it would be interesting to offer a trade of some sorts for Marc Gasol? Thoughts?

Mulhollanddrive wrote:Alex Len has had such an underrated season.
14-14-1 (per 36) on 119 O-Rating.
He's gobbled up every rebound in sight today.
He's rebounding is really overstated. I think lilfishi was the one that mentioned it one of the other game threads how Len has the most useless rebounds ever.
Many of his rebounds are offensive boards that are off his own point blank misses. He pads his rebounding numbers by missing over and over again at the rim.
For the season he averages 9 rebounds a game and a third of that is just offensive boards and I'd wager a vast majority is off his own damn misses.
He must also be among league leaders in getting blocked and stripped of the ball in the paint. He doesn't look to pass ever and is slow with the ball that it gets ripped from him easily.
He finished well in the paint today but its so inconsistent. Seeing how Len doesn't have that Clint Capela type game, I think he will struggle to find a big pay day. Him and Noel are in the same boat and both need ton of work on their game.

I was disappointed by Bender in his first start.
0 points in 22 minutes and he was not active/agressive.
But we won the game, so I think he is gonna start again. Hopefully he plays a better game.
