I'd love Yaxel Lendeborg as my top Power Forward option, but I am highly concerned that he's no longer under the radar enough to be available to us at 29. Tankathon has him at 25 currently. And ultimately, I think he'll end up in the 22-26 range by the draft. But definitely, He's climbing for me due to his incredible skillset versatility, strength, athleticism, ballhandling, passing, defensive awareness, and high IQ/in-game processing. In this tweet, you can see his incredible upside and versatility and fluidity! :D

Saw an ESPN mock draft has him at 19 and as low as 9th in below draft site, so unless we get a lottery pick in KD trade he's probably unrealistic option.

https://nbadraftroom.com/2025-nba-mock-draft/

Interesting comp: TJ Warren+

He's a lot better defender than TJ, and more athletic. He also is a solid 3 pt shooter. He can finish inside but not sure about his midrange game. I'd probably prefer Yaxel anyway.

Though Tankathon has Yaxel at 25 and Bryant at 37.

Can't tell where these guys end based on mock drafts which I guess are influenced by recent performance in the MM tourney and I don't follow college basketball at all. Then Jones usually surprises with his pick. Yaxel looks versatile. A (better) shooting version of Oso ? Three years older than Bryant though. I'd personally go with the higher potential player expecially if they go in rebuild mode, well more like semi-rebuild as FO hates 7th graders.

This sucks...

This 6'8 - 6'9 220 SF/PF with a 7'2 wingspan will very likely be available in the undrafted ranges and is a great versatile defender with skillset archetype very similar to Toumani Camara/ Herb Jones. And he'd be a great jumbo versatile defensive small forward. I'd love for us to consider him and/or Dailyn Swain for a two-way developmental small forward option from the undrafted ranges, as he wouldn't require any draft picks to secure!

(I know this was a few years back, but it shows his versatility and fluidity/ defensive awareness. Now for his offense:

Ultimately, My top 5 SF for defensive versatility and strong defensive 3 & D positional depth from the late 2nd to undrafted ranges are:

1- Obinna Anichili Killen
6'8- 6'9 220 lbs 7'2 winspan. Camara/ Herb Jones.

2- David N'Guessan
https://edemirnba.substack.com/p/david-nguessan-scouting-report 6'9 205 lbs 7'2 wingspan. Jaden McDaniels/ Taylor Hendricks.

3- Baba Miller
https://nbadraftroom.com/baba-miller/ 6'11 215 lbs 7'2 wingspan. Jonathan Isaac lite/ much better defensive Hedo Turkoglu.

4- Dailyn Swain
https://edemirnba.substack.com/p/dailyn-swain-scouting-report
6'7 -6'8 200 lbs 7'1 wingspan. Andre Jackson (Bucks)/ Ryan Dunn with a better FT shooting.

5-Dillon Mitchell
https://nbadraftroom.com/dillon-mitchell/
https://www.nbadraft.net/players/dillon-mitchell/
6'8 213 lbs. 6'10 wingspan and 37-inch vertical. Ver fast fluid, explosive defensive version of Kelly Oubre/ Smaller Aaron Gordon.

KJ Lewis is transferring to Georgetown. He’s a sophomore I really liked his game and now he’s leaving.

Budget Cam Johnson 2.0??? ( could be available in the early 20s if there's a KD trade allowing us to move up?

But if not, there's also still names and similar archetypes like:

Kanon Catchings, Ben Hunrichous, Donnie Freeman, Jackson Moni, Jarin Stevenson, Steven Settles, or my personal favorite David Nguessan.

This is why I'd have him over Demin as an ideal guard with size target! Just more developed and skilled all around!

Danny Wolf could be a very nice budget Jokic complement next to Ighodaro if we acquire some higher draft picks in a KD trade!

I've followed Ousmane off and on for a few years now, and he'd be an excellent undrafted upside swing prospect to take a flier on! I had hopes that he'd get significantly stronger and could really be a steal! But he's honestly trending more like a more fluid version of Jsbari Smith Jr.

Didn't really expect him to declare, but I'd definitely take a swing on him with one of our two ways.

Another great name for a high shot blocking, 3 PT shooting center that'd be available in the mid to 2nd round. Basically a bigger version of Maxi Kleber ironically. That would give us 3 solid rim protecting 3 & D cost controlled center options in the 2nd round to undrafted ranges to consider with Kalkbrenner, Zisarky (not a shooter just yet though), and Grunloh.

Avadalas is Doncic 2.0 but with better conditioning. He's the 1st PG I'd take in the draft and without any hesitation.

If he's Doncic 2.0 he must be the best kept secret in the world, GoK. :D Deni Avdija was next Doncic too. This guy is listed as SF and looks more like Avdija-light to me.

Avdija is a very good player. Wizards gave him for scraps.
