Trade forum would hate it because they collectively believe Bledsoe has a handicap sticker hanging from his rear view mirror at this point. I think the league has a better handle on the injury.

We commit to building around Booker, keep #4 to draft Bender, Murray, or Chriss, and possibly pick up another pick in a loaded 2017 draft.

Rather do it for Knight but I don't know where is value is at this juncture. Higher than the trade forum but not this high.

No thanks. I am hoping to compete next year and I think our hopes lie with Bledsoe.

Green font?

Not really... if we lose Bledsoe, we have no credible way of competing. It will be hard even with him, which I think must be the point you are trying to make.

You know, i always knew there was something i liked about Bill Simmons!

4/13/Len for Cousins/8 would be an absolute steal! McD would be here-for known as The Ripoff Artist.

GetYourPHX wrote:That team would have 30 million dollars worth of Center and still no PF's.

LMAO. Yeah....and? So pass on Cousins because we already are overpaying Chandler and have no PF? Simple solution. Draft a PF with that #8. You would also have a much better chance attracting FA's by bringing in Cousins. With the league how it is nowadays, Stars want to play with Stars, so it takes trading for a Star to help attract other Stars.

I still think Simmons is a little bit off, and IF Sactown were going to trade us Cousins and rebuild around their youth and draft picks, they would want more and look to dump more.

Bledsoe/Booker/Gay/Warren/Cousins

Knight/Murray(#4)/Casspi/WCS/Len

I'm going to keep saying this: OKAFOR IS THE LEAST LIKELY PHOENIX SUN OF ALL TIME.......BESIDES SHAWN BRADLEY, WHO IS CURRENTLY RETIRED!

Now, for a slightly more calm thought that I just had:

So we got smoked by critics based on our trade deadline moves from a year ago, right?

What was the basis of that criticism? Most believed that if we were smart, we would rather have Isaiah Thomas, Goran Dragic, and the Lakers' pick than what we got in return.

Instead of the main assets we sent away, we now have Devin Booker, Brandon Knight, two lottery picks, two Miami picks, T.J. Warren, Tyson Chandler, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Alex Len, most of whom we would trade away for the right price.

My point is that after trading away an All-Star for a late pick in this year's first round, we have MORE assets than we did back then.

Props to McD for the strategic brilliance, no? We are in a very good position.

I have a pretty interesting trade thought that I'd like folks to comment on, but first I have to return home with a quart of milk. 83 degrees F and dairy do not mix.

Everyone should give McD credit for collecting assets. We can now put together a nice package :D

Idea:

PHX sends Brandon Knight and the #4 pick to Washington
WSH sends John Wall to PHX

i had it as #13, but i don't think Washington would want to do it for that.

we're overpaying a little (or maybe not), but i'm willing to overpay here.

Wall/Bledsoe? does that excite anyone as much as it excites me?

Give McD credit where it is due. We have loaded up on assets :D

Better than zero assets and no picks. What flavor is the koolaid? That is important

I really wanted Lyles, he would probably be the second PF off the board after Simmons this year but Utah really needs him to provide playmaking/floor spacing for their paint clogging Twin Towers frontcourt. They may look to move Favors for a star guard

It seems like from other markets' perspective its little more than a top 5 pick for Wall. I would guess Knight's trade value among GMs is somewhere between how high we think it is and how low everyone else thinks it is..which i think would mean we'd have to add another piece. But after giving up a lotto pick to try and round out their lineup a couple months ago, i doubt theyre going to want to trade their franchise player for some rebuild pieces.
