Lonzo will be 26 before he has a real chance to leave the team that drafts him. By that time, I guarantee you, Lonzo will be calling his own shots. Besides, dear old dad has two other boys to worry about too.
Being afraid of dad is a bad reason not to draft a player. Lonzo is the second best player in this draft. He might be the most impactful player in the draft. Take the BPA and don't look back.
Bad family influence can be really bothering. Ask Chichago fans about Rose's family...
I also happen to think that Jacksoin is better prospect than Ball.
I just don't understand this thinking. Everyone is downgrading Ball, not because of things he's failed at but because of things they haven't seen. It's not like they've seen him blow it in the mid-range game nor is it like they've seen him get his outside shot blocked nor has he failed to control the game when forced into half-court mode.
It's all guesses that he can't because he is dominating without doing those things but why aren't people doing the same thing to Jackson? He's playing a position and a style he'll never play in the NBA but everyone just assumes he'll be as effective playing against quicker, more skilled players instead of the 4's he gets to take advantage of now.I really believe that a few years from now every team that passes on Ball will have a lot of explaining to do and it will only get worse when he starts racking up the MVP's.
Lol what? He's not exclusively playing the 4 for Kansas, and he even started out at the 3 this year before Azubuike got hurt and they
needed him to play 4. Not to mention Kansas plays 4 out with him on the perimeter, switches almost everything on defense, and gets out in transition this year, and that's exactly what the NBA is doing. He's the easily most athletic player in the draft class too lol it's not like he's going to be slow and short when he gets to the NBA.
Talking about "racking up the MVPs" when Ball's not even the best prospect in this draft lol...
