Mike Muscala getting a buyout, I would take him for our final roster spot.

Near 7 foot and got a 3 point shot, I think he'll serve us better than Eubanks

Muscala needs to have a deal in place with a playoff team, not sure about us because we got Thad Young already.

I prefer Muscala over Eubanks but I prefer Thad Young over both. We will see which team sign him.

I hope it's not Boston, that would give them a "good enough" Porzingis insurance. Maybe Sixers? Especially with the Embiid situation he (and his agent) could think he could have a nice role there - and they wouldn't be wrong.

Gambo said that we aren't interested in Muscala.

I don't think he brings a lot to the table outside of a floor spreading big which we don't really need. He's also a poor defender, not much of a rebounder, and does nothing inside of the 3pt line

The Atlanta Hawks are waiving guard Patty Mills, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The 15-year veteran is shooting 38.2 percent from 3-point range in a limited role this season.

But isn't he pretty much only an undersized ( 6'2) 3 pt shooter that doesn't really do much else? He could maybe be low end insurance for Gordon, but even then would be mostly redundant once Damion Lee comes back. This is a pretty uninspiring trade deadline. I'd hope for us to convert Udoka for another big body (Nurkic insurance) in the postseason for matchups against bigger more physical frontcourts. :-?

He would be redundant but I don't think Patty is a scrub yet. Even at 35, he is still pretty quick and can score. I would rather him over converting Saban Lee to a regular contract.

If we're going for a big, probably better to just pickup RoLo at that point.
Really tough so say as we need a pg AND an emergancy big.

Redundant is the right word indeed. Maybe they should go after someone younger that can play D rather than EG lite.

Love Patty Mills, one of the best teammates in the NBA and good relationship with KD.

But way too redundant basketball wise if Damion Lee is coming back.

Patty Mills is 6'0, but even with his small size and old age he can be useful because he is superskilled.

At the end of the day it's about who can help more in the playoffs... Mills or Saben Lee?

He has point guard ball handling skills over Lee. But if you aren't going to use him as a pg to handle and would only use him as another shooter, then there is where the redundancy lies.

Vogel said that Damion Lee will start training basketball at the end of the regular season. I wouldn't count on him for the playoffs.

Ok, not more talking about Patty Mills lol.

Gambo

The Suns will not pursue Patty Mills.

Bro is redundant. He shares the same skillset as EG. He does some things better and other things worse but overall, very similar skill set. We have one spot left and we don't need another undersized gunner.
