We get Wall, Wiz can have Knight and Jamal Murray or Bender or Hield or.......i would guess Murray. how is that worse than Wall and 1/2 a season of Bradley Beal?

Now, for a slightly more calm thought that I just had:

So we got smoked by critics based on our trade deadline moves from a year ago, right?

What was the basis of that criticism? Most believed that if we were smart, we would rather have Isaiah Thomas, Goran Dragic, and the Lakers' pick than what we got in return.

Instead of the main assets we sent away, we now have Devin Booker, Brandon Knight, two lottery picks, two Miami picks, T.J. Warren, Tyson Chandler, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Alex Len, most of whom we would trade away for the right price.

My point is that after trading away an All-Star for a late pick in this year's first round, we have MORE assets than we did back then.

Props to McD for the strategic brilliance, no? We are in a very good position.

I have a pretty interesting trade thought that I'd like folks to comment on, but first I have to return home with a quart of milk. 83 degrees F and dairy do not mix.

Okafor's post game reminds me of some of Barkley's post game.... when he isolates down low, backs his man down, then pulls an array of moves for a 2 points in the paint.

And that Suns team is arguably the most successful suns team yet.

Okafor is a very good young player and talent...

I agree. he's just not at all built for an up-tempo team.

maybe he's a Net or a Pelican, but he's not a Phoenix Sun. if we're still trying to run, which i assume we still are, he's not a shooter, defender or rebounder. with his skill set, suddenly we become the Nets.

i think he'll do well somewhere. not here.

Trade forum would hate it because they collectively believe Bledsoe has a handicap sticker hanging from his rear view mirror at this point. I think the league has a better handle on the injury.

We commit to building around Booker, keep #4 to draft Bender, Murray, or Chriss, and possibly pick up another pick in a loaded 2017 draft.

Rather do it for Knight but I don't know where is value is at this juncture. Higher than the trade forum but not this high.

No thanks. I am hoping to compete next year and I think our hopes lie with Bledsoe.

No way Philly gives up one of their juicy assets AND Jah. for damaged goods who doesn’t fit their window of opportunity ' a late lotto pick in a weak draft. They would hold out for the 4 to take Dunn

First, don't think Bledsoe is damaged goods. Second, Colangelo is looking to compete now and looking for a lead guard who can help them do that. Third, not really a weak draft. Weak at the top but strong throughout. We need to stop dismissing this draft like I do one of your Murray/Mayo comps. Lol. Jk.

why do you want Henry Ellenson on a team that runs? He's probably the least mobile of every Power Forward in the draft.

i know it has been said, but i think he's deceptively mobile. he's probably about as fast as Kevin Love. he really doesn't seem too bad to me.

mobile and running are two different things. he's not so mobile in the half court with regards to his feet, but he seems pretty fast getting up and down the floor.

Here is an interesting trade to consider,

Both bledsoe and derrick rose have significant injury histories. Would you guys consider sending chicago .....Bledsoe, Tucker, Miami 2018 in return for derrick rose, and miscellaneous pieces?

He is super young, and Cleveland is going to decline slowly. I'd do it if I was Boston at this point because they are firmly a playoff team with a fanbase that wants to compete. Draft picks may not pan out at all...it's not like their high draft picks have panned out to much, and it would take a while for those guys to compete. They should put some protection on the 17 one, but I don't know if Chicago accepts that if there is too much protection.

Butler is 26 and turning 27 in September I don't really consider that super young especially when Cleveland will be the team to beat for another 3-4 years. Just my opinion though

Yeah, I guess it depends...I consider that young, but I know many people here consider that pretty old so it's all relative. Many players these days playing until mid to late 30s.

But I don't agree with the sentiment that if you're in the east, with Cleveland up there, everyone else should just scrap their teams and trade their stars.

Oh I agree that it's not old at all, but I just don't think Butler will put Boston over the top so giving up all those great draft picks for player who should be the 2nd option doesn't seem like a good idea

Bledsoe has more trade value than Derrick Rose.

Hey, unless the miscellaneous pieces included Jimmy Butler, but yeah, no.

So... McMully is meeting with Bogdan to ink him up or ? I can see how it could save the Suns $ but doesn't that crowd the already crowded SG/SF slot ?

Have to think something must be brewing in trade land. Would not make any sense to add without subtracting. Boy-GM-Genius thinking extra hard this year

If Bender is gone, get Okafor. Hield and Murray (possible Brown) could be a good pair with Booker, very dynamic, but with Knight and Bledsoe and possibly Bogdan and the unknown of the draftees, it would be best to fill our roster with someone who fills a need and can play without a doubt; that's Okafor. I prefer him over Chriss, although Chriss COULD be a better fit, why roll the dice when we don't have to?

Okafor is your Demarcus Cousins....with less rebounding.

I don't think we can get Okafor if Dunn is picked at three via a boston deal. Just doesn't add up as Philly has expressed specific interest in a PG. Would be surprised if we can work out something with Knight and not exactly willing to shell out Bled...have to think on that.
