We traded him for a second rounder

This is what I mean...

Or even this...

Come on Book, go invest in the BoingVert program over the summer.

He had that one dunk against the Rockets which was pretty impressive but he's more in the mold of a Reggie Miller or Allen Houston that doesn't have the greatest vertical.

Yeah, Booker is slender and not an explosive leaper; he is never going to remotely dunk like a younger Grant Hill—who once dunked on Dikembe Mutombo in the playoffs.

Hill also jammed on Alonzo Mourning back in the day.

Realistically, Booker is not going to dunk like the older, Phoenix version of Grant Hill, either.

Allan Houston actually possessed a pretty high vertical, certainly in his younger days in Detroit, kind of like Ray Allen. Indeed, Houston participated in the All-Star Weekend dunk contest as a rookie in 1994.

While with the Knicks, Houston threw down on Mourning and Tracy McGrady.

Like Allen, Houston did not throw down many power dunks, because he was primarily a perimeter shooter.

Reggie Miller's level of dunking is indeed more like one can expect from Booker. The latter has a better handle and can thus reach the basket with more force than Miller (as in that one play against Houston), but Miller was long and probably a couple of inches taller in actual height.

I forgot that Houston could actually play above the rim sometimes because my last memory of him is as a Knick where his athleticism was long gone.

I have no ill will towards IT and tip my cap to how hes played but i do kind of wonder if hes fools gold if you want to be a real contender. Maybe im just a size doubter that hes overcome his whole life but with a guy like him i feel like certain matchups in the playoffs against big guards are going to be a killer. A good coach with a good big guard like say Wall is going to go at IT every game until they either take him out or it ruins their d.

I literally have no memory of him in the game and do have a memory arguing with people including Lowe about him not being selected. I wonder why that is. Was he a late replacement?

Another player backed out due to injury very close to the game.

Booker needs 70 more points to eclipse 2,000 total career points. When he does he will be the 3rd youngest player to reach 2k (Lebron and KD are ahead of him).

I get what your saying but James Harden is also similar in that regard to assists and he might win MVP this year doing it.

When Booker is making 3's he is a completely different player.

Goes from Monta Ellis to Klay Thompson.

Anyone going to meet him at Cricket Wireless tomorrow?

I'm thinking about going to congratulate him on his 12th straight 20 pt game. :D

If booker gets at least 20 next game he gets to 2,000. That game will be on TNT. Would be awesome to see him go off on national television and join elite company as one of the youngest in history to get 2,000

Team is struggling, but hey at least D-Book is performing well lately...

His stats across January: 25.4 pts on 58.2 TS% with 3.9 rebounds and 3 assists.

Overall nice bounce back from his unefficient pre-New Year's stretch.

Is there a big man division and a guard division? I haven't followed the ASW in a couple of years

Yeah. They've been doing it the last year or two.

As a 2nd year player Booker is averaging more points per game (20.8) than Kobe Bryant in his 3rd season (19.9), shooting higher percentage from three (36.0%) than Ray Allen in his 3rd season (35.6%) and averaging more assists per game (3.2) and per 36 minutes (3.3) than James Harden (league leader in assists this season) in his 2nd season (2.1 and 2.9).

GOAT.
