A little tidbit for while you wait. Exactly 50 times has a Sun maintained a 20 or better PER throughout an entire season (min. 50 GP). Here they are:

He was a decent defender, but a better teammate and backup runner of the Hornacek system. But yeah, Smith-Goodwin is probably the worst shooting backcourt!

What the hell does this mean?

If he is implying the Suns did his brother wrong, he seriously needs to look in the mirror. The Morris twins have been such a pain in the a$$.

Markieff can be mad all he wants, bottom line is we brought that dude in, (Marcus) gave him the chance, and he blew it at every f****** turn causing b******* in locker room arguing with the coach seemingly trying to fight techs galore and now this fool is the main one who is the reason they get a felony assault charge ....he is the one who supposedly beat that dude up while Keef just held everyone back.... this f*** is a troublemaker if not for us he would probably be out of league.... but the fact that we brought him in paired him with his brother and made him a millionaire with the second contract we did that f*** of favor!

burning heart...is that you?

We are of no.... relation... lol

I don't think this is possible. Tucker + Mcneal + Leuer = 7.38 million. Draft picks do not have any salary attached to them in trades. 150% of this value (11.07 million) can be acquired from this trade, at a maximum. The Chandler deal is worth 52/4; taking account 4.5% salary raises his salary would start at 12.1 million. Goodwin or Booker would be need to thrown into the mix or Chandler would need to take about 5 million less overall.

with the new CBA I think it's a hard $5 million and not 150%. Meaning we need to send out $7 million to acquire a player making $12 million. 150% is for a trade for someone under 9 or 10 mill from what I remember, with $5 mill being that 9 or 10 to 13 or 14 I think, and some other number for guys above that amount.

Does a contending team need 8 1sts in the next 5 years?

Time to cash in our assets if we're ready to rumble.

I Don't think he ends up in Phoenix. But I wouldn't hate it. IF LMA somehow ended up in Phoenix, I might just have to adopt a new team

You obviously give up PJ over Kieff if LMA signs

Kieff would absolutely wreck second units, our bench would be the difference maker from those **** bench's Portland has had for years

If LMA doesn't sign, whatever, it's a terrible deal and Len deserves to start.

Having some 33 year old lead us to a first round exit is terrible when Len already did well in his starting job and should be even better next season

If LMA doesn't sign, you're telling me Len is going to be on the bench in the 4th quarter

Terrible.

The guy could be Vucevic with defense and we're stunting his development for what?

Again, McD took a big risk and it's probably the right decision,

Chances are it doesn't work out though realistically

On the plane ride home someone said we were out of the LMA race. Clearly that is untrue?

I don't want to hear anyone call out McD if LMA doesn't sign with Phoenix.

His ceiling is incredibly high. I'm a believer. But also nervous he could be packaged just in case another team demand him to be part of the deal.

well duh

everyone in the universe knew when he was drafted that the guy would need 3-4 years to get his game going

It would be the most (Please Use More Appropriate Word) thing ever to give up after just two seasons

I still find it weird that people think Len, or any player, can't develop in practice going up against a guy like Chandler every day, instead of playing more minutes in games. Also, if we miss on Aldridge I'm pretty sure you'll see Len play the 4 some.

@aldridge_12 Screw the suns aldridge. Learn to win championships with San Antonio.

I think if people are respectful if they tweet him with solid stuff it could help a little...don't be like the guy above. It likely won't make a difference, but if he thinks the Spurs fan EXPECT a championship and we just want someone to help us get there, I think that's a good thing.
I have been doing my part as a Suns Fan by tweeting LMA and encouraging him to sign here. Trying to hit a nerve that makes him think a lot more of the Suns.
I think LMA makes his decision after the weekend. If he was already decided, why would he waste his time with meeting with the Lakers again and have dinner with the Heat.
I love this picture.

I feel like someone should make a fake Twitter account, tell LMA he better choose the Spurs or he'll be forgotten. Tell em he can HELP the Spurs win more championships. Be a snobby Spurs fan. Honestly, the past 3 or so seasons most Spurs fans are just bandwagon/fairweather fans. Almost as bad as the Lakers fan of the 2000's.
