IIRC he was one of the first guys to get the "Dragic wants out" story so he does have some credibility

I don't see anything suggesting we won't pick Chriss. Unless a trade goes down or Dunn becomes a hot commodity I think Chriss will be our choice.

I could see Bender dropping to the Nuggets. I'm not sure about the Lakers but it seems they have doubts about Ingram.

the stuff that Woj said about McD is intuitive. we know this about Sarver in general, and we know this about the playoffs in general: the easiest way to enter the playoffs would be as the 8th seed. it's not our ultimate target. it's no one's.

Bled won't get traded unless it's as part of a deal for Hayward or Butler. that i could see

I just read on the Celtic Reddit board that Jaylen Brown did 76/100 on the 3pt shot test that Murray hit 78/100 on. https://twitter.com/AdamHimmelsbach/status/745657935360032768?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

as for Hayward: when there's smoke, and it's seemingly coming out of nowhere....

Suns moving Eric Bledsoe?

Another young veteran who will be firmly on the trading block is Eric Bledsoe of the Suns, as Phoenix seeks to rebalance its guard-heavy roster and hopes to add frontcourt help. The Suns have interest in drafting point guard Kris Dunn of Providence with the No. 4 pick, which would give them a rookie to develop while cashing in on Bledsoe’s value.

Of course, that value took a serious hit last winter when Bledsoe had the third knee surgery of his career. Bledsoe had the meniscus in his right knee repaired in 2011, and removed altogether in 2014. He had his left meniscus repaired in December. Removing the meniscus essentially leaves the bones of the knee rubbing against each other, and leaves players susceptible to tendinitis and bone bruises. That’s why doctors try to repair a meniscus before removing it.

This is probably the one scenario where we draft a guard that I can get behind. I like Dunn a lot, but we need to trade Bledsoe if we draft him.

His knees will be fine until he gets in his early 30's. When they become bothersome, just take a few aspirin before he competes. The best thing he could have done was remove his meniscus. He shouldn't have anymore issues other than periodic aches which will go away once he gets going. Also, a lot of heat, stim, and ice.

I read it too. I was going to ask where are they shooting their threes from, the first spot when you play around the world?

This makes me want the Suns to draft Jaylen Brown even less. Not is he only a bad basketball player, he's also a liar.

Get ready for Dunn or Hield or Chriss or Bender. I think Dunn or Hield. We are going to sign Barnes to play the 4, I can feel it. This post will be quoted in two weeks.

My guess is:

1) PHI - Simmons
2) LAL - Ingram
3) BOS - Brown
4) PHX - Dunn (trade)

trade for who, I don't know?

I'm at peace with Chriss because we aren't getting Butler/Hayward. I expect to finish near the bottom this upcoming season and land a potential stud :)

Somebody please make a better small ball lineup than this, THAT"S POSSIBLE. No 80 team trade. I dare ya.

Small ball

Bledsoe
Buddy
Booker
Barnes
Chandler

All we do in this scenario is draft Buddy and sign Barnes.

The Hawks probably wants a PF like Ellenson or Sabonis with that #12 pick.
That can change our selection at #13 because the Jazz probably wanted a PG like Baldwin or Dejounte.

I could deal with that lineup as long as we play entertaining basketball. I just don't see McD throwing everything behind Okafor/etc.

Mocks have Sabonis going around 10/11. I don't think he will be on the board when we pick. Ellenson is a garbage player though :noway:

Isn't Barnes a restricted FA. I have only heard GS is willing to match all offers. I think the only way we could get Barnes is a sign and trade. I don't know the Suns would be willing to pay Barnes Max and give up players to get him.

Probably safe to say he will not be on the Suns next year if we don't have his medical records after his shoulder issues and haven't contacted him.

Maybe Dunn is dropping down the board. I think he regrets not releasing his medical records

If you want to be try to be competitive and sign a young vet (Barnes just turned 24) and draft a ready to contribute right-away player and still stay young.....
