I'm starting to think that Monty deserves more criticism than I've been giving him. This team has good shooters, but they don't make shots. It's like the opposite of what's going on with Houston. We're not in rhythm, we don't play with confidence or swagger. We're thinking too much, playing scared, without a chip on our shoulder.

I don't want to trade these guys away because I just know they'll play better once they're on a different team. We could bring in more shooters, but they'll just be taking minutes away from other guys who can shoot. We've rotated through coaches, overhauled the roster... what the f*** gives?

In my opinion Booker is really unhappy with this team. That would explain why he is running around and giving low effort on defense.

Monty needs to get a clue otherwise this team will keep falling apart. What the **** is going on with Sarver/Fitzgerald?

Do you believe Booker could demand a trade soon?

Booker looks miserable on this team. I wouldn't be surprised if he asks to be traded privately after this season.

I wouldn't be to upset if he requested one. He's an amazing player but this team isnt going anywhere unless they get rid of Oubre and pick up some tough minded defensive players as well. Also, noticed how Booker & Ayton dont gel well on the court similar to when i watch Philly games with Embiid & Simmons. Difference is Philly is a contender but doesnt seem like they are making the finals either this year (Bucks, Raptors) or next either ( Bucks, Raptors, Celtics).

I think that we just need better players around Booker. Talent is usually the biggest factor to win games.

We do not have anyone good enough to be considered a Top 10 player at his position other than Booker.

Look, Book is for sure one of the best 10 players at his position (SG)...but what about the other four positions? No one. Only Ayton is close... hopefully he is there next year as a C.

And we do not have anyone good enough as a potential best 6th man in the league. Other position that we need to improve.

I think Booker is OK, he will not demand for a trade this summer because we have improved...but next year we will need to be in the playoffs or I think he will start talking about frustration and wanting to win. Next year can be dangerous in that regard.

This summer we need to try to improve the PG and PF position. Booker, Bridges and Ayton are my favourite players and they are young and getting better. They are the true core.

Rubio and Oubre are OK, but they can be upgraded via trade/FA. We can add some picks or another young player to work some trade and get some impact player at those positions.

Jones/Monty will get fired immediately if Booker requests a trade. Followed up by Sarver selling the team to a local buyer that won't relocate.

A. Who can the SUNS get this upcoming offseason that will help Booker?
B. Which star player would be a perfect combo with Booker/Ayton/Bridges?

Jones doesn't seems to have a clear vision. Apparently he thinks that Booker would never request a trade.

Board every time we lose: Booker gone and not good.
"Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."

There are always options... we have talked a lot about Gallinari as a PF.

We can trade for Jrue Holiday who would be a nice fit next to Booker.

CJ McCollum could be in the market this summer. Probably the Blazers want to make some changes around Lillard, and McCollum can be great next to Booker and Bridges on the perimeter.

Those players are just an idea, for sure there are gonna be very good players available in trades or in FA... we need to stay active.

If Booker asks for a trade it will be to Minnesota and their pieces to trade with are utter crap. We won't trade with them unless a third team gets majorly fleeced.

Then let's see how long before Russell and KAT are a failure when that happens its gonna get nasty. Oh when the Wolves can't trade Russell as he is with KAT and KAT demands action to improve their roster when they have joke assets.

Those two aren't going to win ****. They cannot play defense. Adding booker would mean the three of them would not win ****. As all 3 cannot play defense. You must play some defense to win. Those 3 clowns have yet to understand that.

It depends what their pick looks like this year and how their current players develop. Beasley has been beasting since the trade to minny and culver is improving too.

If a trade has to happen I'd check with orlando on isaac and Fournier.
Ayton and isaac defense would be fun.

Isaac is only attainable if we give up either booker or Ayton. Orlando is super high on him and guys like him are rare in the NBA.

I agree, he'd be a perfect fit for us though if we were somehow able to land him for say Oubre and our pick (our pick would need to fall into the top 3 for this to be feasible though) .

That's what I meant in that hypothetical. if booker wants to be traded because his bffs are having fun building snowmen then I'd call orlando and see how much booker is worth to them.

I didn't read that carefully. Yes, in the scenario that Booker demands a trade that would make a lot of sense.

Assuming with how poor Saric has been we will be letting him go at the end of the season?

Confirmation of a shocking trade down in draft picks to get Saric.

Why would Orlando trade anything for him when they know Booker wants to build snowmen with his bffs? Why would any other team for that matter?

They know it would be the same thing in Orlando too so it wouldn’t make sense for them to trade for him.

Booker reminds me of Gilbert Arenas a heck of a talent but never good enough to take his team to the 2nd round always losing to Lebron's Cavs in three straight first rounds. Maybe I'm overreacting but I don't believe he is a good fit for Ayton moving forward.

Choosing a star big over a star wing/guard in this era of basketball would be really foolish. Unless the big is a Jokic type who can do absolutely everything which Ayton isn’t ever going to be (this isn’t a knock on DA, Jokic is a once in a lifetime player).

It shouldn’t ever come down to Book or Ayton as hopefully in the future, we can have both together playing well and the team winning. But if it becomes a one or the other scenario then the choice should be simple.

Return to Phoenix Suns
