Love for Bledsoe and Len is hilarious.

I wouldn't do Love for Len let alone throwing in Bledsoe.

LOL to that trade.

If he is traded, it will likely be with no guarantees for resigning. If I am Love, I am going to be a free agent and determine my own destiny. I make commitments to no one. Whoever gets him, only gets him as a rental.

Kevin Love looking like fools gold at the moment, or maybe its LeBron (or Kyrie). This is what you get when you do not have two-way players.

I think he would definitely make use of his player option so he becomes a free agent once the cap is significantly higher. So we would imho most definitely have him for this and next season. I would still love to have him here and his trade value should be pretty low.

Cavs need a few complementary pieces, role players. It would be hilarious if we got him for something like Wright, Plumlee, Thomas, Green. All assets that we basically accumulated for free the last two seasons

I have never been a big Kevin Love fan. I have always thought he puts up empty stats on mediocre-bad teams and he is showing that now in Cleveland as he did in Minny. HE HAS BEEN EXPOSED ON A NATIONAL STAGE. That said I'd trade for him if the price was shockingly low - e.g. Plumlee, Thomas, ??? and a draft choice. I would not trade core players (Dragic, Len, Markieff, Bledsoe) for him.

The notion that we'd send Bledsoe and Len to Cleveland to bail out this franchise is way beyond idiotic and the ESPN idiot that proposed this should have his press credentials confiscated and be required to return to his McDonald's frier job.

No way we send Bledsoe+Len for Love... maybe for lebron rsrsrs
This is a ****' buy low.
I kinda compare Love with Nash... HUGE LIABILITY in defense, but his offensive skillset is SOOO good.
When u pair him with Bledsoe/Tucker/Len, good things will happen.
He's a elite rebounder, has 3pt range, can post up, score inside, is a freakin' good passer.

Cleveland was always a bad fit for him. If we get him for cheap, this would be the a hell of a move by McD.

Agreed, and he should be able to be had for cheap since he's expiring, playing like sh*t...except when he's not playing at all, like in 4th quarters. I would do Morri+IT+our pick, but that's it. I can't imagine they'll get anything better but who knows

Heck, I would give the Cavs two of our picks. The 2nd one being a conditional pick (2017) if Love stays with us longer than two years, if not, well then just the 2015 pick.

I didn't think the NBA allowed this type of trade? Do you have an example of this having occurred previously?

So you'd give up the twins and IT and a pick for a short term rental of a player? I want to make the playoffs but I don't want to make the playoffs that badly.

Not sure what kind of limitations you can do for picks. I imagine if that isn't legal, we could easily just say top 7 protected or something of that sort.

Yes, I would. If it doesn't pan out you have a boatload of cash (Morri+IT) to spend on an upgrade at PF. If it does pan out, you lock Love up long term.

I'd roll the dice on the twins and IT for love if he agreed to give them a fair shot to resign. gotta take some risks to get over the hump.

I'd do it. It's a risk I'm willing to take. If Love leaves, it's fine as we have breathing room to go after other free agents such as Lamarcus Aldridge, Marc Gasol, Paul Millsap, Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan.

You guys are nuts trading Markieff and Marcus for a guy that might not even resign with us in the offseason. Markieff has one of the best contracts in the NBA. Love is good and all but you don't take a risk like that. Only way Love even considers resigning in Phoenix is if Suns make it at least to the 2nd round in the playoffs (that's even if we make it). You want Suns to give Love a max contract? I don't. A lot of other teams will. Markieff just abused Love.

What happens if Suns trade for Love and we finish 9th seed? We basically just traded Markieff, Marcus and IT for nobody.

Cleveland is the best fit for Love and he's struggling. Do not do it Phoenix.

I totally agree. Markieff completely destroyed Love head-to-head. I would only trade Green, IT and other crap for Love - and Love would have to pick-up his player option (like he said he would).

Okay so what about this. We stand pat, we finish 9th again. We re-sign Wright for a reasonable 5mil a year. Dragic gets a huge offer from the Knicks and he signs with them. Green is definitely gone. We are now sitting with the same exact roster minus Dragic/Green AND our salary is hovering around 55mil. We don't have enough money to go after a replacement for Dragic such as Wes Mathews, now what do we do?

Who on that list would we have a legitimate shot at? Millsap? He isn't that much better than Keef. Green would excel here but I hear GSW will pay whatever it takes to keep him. Jordan isn't needed with Len. Hmmm.

Is Love a winner? Can he be a piece on a Championship team or is his defense too much of a limitation? Will he demand a max contract or be gone within a year?

Unanswered questions - too much risk

He would only be worth trading for If we only have to give up our scraps to get him.

People here just want to make deals for the sake of making deals. Kieff already showed how he can be better than love. You guys are ridiculous. Seems like half of this board just wants a big name.
