There is a chance Winslow is available at 6th, if Knicks go PG and pick Mudiay and Orlando take Porzingis since they have Oladipo and Gordon at 2 and 3. We can then trade Bledsoe straight away to the Kings for the 6th pick + filler and take Winslow and Kaminsky/Turner/Looney.

Lineup Knight/Winslow/Warren/Kaminsky/Len would be one hell of a matchup for opposite teams.

That does look like it would be fun to watch.

There is another part to this trade, the second part, wherein we are really busy on draft night!!! Hehehehe.....in this trade obviously after getting the 6th pick from sacramento and taking winslow, etc. We now engineer a trade with Charlotte. :-?

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kxcx22a .

Phoenix sends charlotte: green, tucker, and our #13 pick.

They can now use the 13th pick to secure booker without having to reach for him, while strengthening their defense (tucker), and their offense (green).

This gives charlotte added firepower on the wing, and an additional asset in p.j. tucker a very good defender and a draft pick to broker or use.

Charlotte sends phoenix: gerald henderson , noah vonleh, and the 7th pick. Now we have managed to secure winslow, noah vonleh for our power forward needs, and with the 7th pick, we take willey cauley stein. His defensive potential is through the roof! His comparison is tyson chandler.

He can back up len, in case he doesn't put it together. It also doesn't hurt that boston covets him immensely. Potential later huge trade asset with boston if we wish. :D

So essentially, when everything is all said and done after the trades, our new roster will theoretically look like this:

Point guard: Brandon Knight/ Darren Collison/Archie Goodwin.

Shooting guard: Justice Winslow/ Nik Stauskus/ Gerald Henderson/Archie Goodwin?

Small Forward: T.J. Warren/Danny Granger/Derrick Williams/ Winslow?

Power Forward: Noah Vonleh/ Carl Landry/Derrick Williams.

Center: Alex Len/ Willey Cauley Stein/ Dakari Johnson (2nd round pick).

The only thing I am slightly sad over is not getting r.j. hunter.

However, if we so choose, we can have one last minor blockbuster up our sleeves from an arrangement we can make with boston. Post draft, after we have them draft r.j. hunter for us, here is the trade we set up to take place shortly after the draft IF!!! we choose to!

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mbm5z6q .

We send boston: Willey Cauley Stein, gerald henderson , marcus thornton, reggie bullock. They send us brandon bass(release), Jared Sullinger, and Tyler Zeller. Both teams can let the players with one year expire etc. If need be to clear cap and roster space. Or resign them as they wish.

Any complaints, or thoughts guys over our new roster.....???? :D

Towns will be a defensive monster but may not hav enough offense to be a star.

Okafor is huge, and will be a Cousins/Jefferson type. Basically a player we suns fans will wish to be on the Suns team in the future.

Winslow and Russell are going to be at worst impact players. Too smart, understands the game, talented etc.

Mudiay reminds me of Bledsoe, Holiday etc. 17 ppg and 8 apg is very likely

Players we Suns would wish to be on the Suns team and willin to pay 15+ million a year.

Well why not try to get them now? On rookie deals, and as foundations on a team.

Some will say Bledsoe, Morris twins, Tucker are too much for pick 4.

But suns also saves 32 million on cap space and a chance to wipe the slate clean with a proper young team to build around.

knight, Len, Warren, Goodwin, pick 4, pick 13, Bogdanovic... With humangous salary cap space is a great way to enter the 2016-2017 season.

So you want to trade "Bledsoe, Morris twins, Tucker" for pick 4 to get Mudiay who "reminds me of Bledsoe, Holiday etc. 17 ppg and 8 apg is very likely...Players we Suns would wish to be on the Suns team and willin to pay 15+ million a year."?

Did I get that right?

Bledsoe is a good player, ideal 3rd option on a good team. I would trade him to get pick 4 however because that would allow the Suns to trade off a 14 million dollar a year player for a stud player on a rookie deal.

Morris twins are worth little due to then being a head ache... Markieff is a PF version of JR Smith. A talented player whose negative traits make him ideal as a off the bench player instead of a key starter. Markieff will pout when the Suns separate the twins.... That makes twins a package... As a package and with off and on court issues makes their value only a fraction of what it should be.

If McD is gets real lucky... He may get pick 4 for Bledsoe and might temp a desperate GM to trade a top 10 pick for Morris twins and Tucker.

So my original post is a conservative estimation of what McD can accomplish...

At best he can walk away with Pick 4, Pick 7-8, Pick 13....

But I like to start off with the minimum rather than the maximum haul he can get.

I've noticed the more times you suggest acquiring a player, the better the player becomes.

Kaminsky was approaching Pau Gasol level until Winslow stepped in as the next Kawhi Leonard.

Those of us who have been high on Kaminsky have been so because he is such a good fit for this team--not because he would ever be (wont be) all star status.

I picked Kamisky. I don’t think any player on there is far and away clearly better than the others over Kaminsky. My three are Kaminsky, Turner, and Booker. Of the three though, nobody fits the team better than Kaminsky.

His ability on the pick and pop, catch and shoot and the glass as well as his passing to some extent make a player that combined with his maturity will be an asset within the current offense. He may have reached most of his potential already, but I project him as a stretch 4 with options to slide to the 5 in spot minutes and his ceiling to be anywhere from Love-lite, to Dirk-lite. Detractors of course could say he may just be Bargnani, which is a possibility, but Bargnani never performed on a national stage like Kamisky has. I think there is too much there that is good to help me overlook his lack of length, and his lack of man defense. I think Frank can improve his defense through his positioning.

Bledsoe/ Goodwin/ McNeal
Knight/ Green/ Bullock
Warren/ Granger/ Mook
Kamisky/ Kieff
Len/ / Asik (FA)/ Wright

I'd like Towns, Okafor or Russell but since those aren't part of the above listed choices I went with Kaminsky, Booker, Turner.

I am surprised to see that only a few of us have selected Cauley-Stein. He is not my favourite player in this draft by any means, but he can be a game-changer on defense. He has a ton of limitations offensively, and for that reason I wouldn't select him in the Top 7....but at #13? I think he would be an steal at that point.

I would be happy with Kaminsky too, one of them would be great.

Yeah, to get Winslow you need Knicks pick.
By the way if Suns would trade for 4th and pick Winslow then it's interesting what would happen next. BPA for Magic is Mudiay but the last thing they need is another perimeter player who can't shoot. So they may pick Porzingis and Mudiay may slip to 6th with would be like a gift from heaven for Kings.
But I may go too far with predictions
Just one thing I really want is to see Winslow in Suns jersey next season.

I think McDonough has acquired two under 25 year old pieces he thinks are building blocks in Bledsoe and Knight. We should consider what can we get for Warren, Len and #13. Can a package like that fetch a star?

That package probably can net us an occasional All Star, but not an star. Someone like DeRozan, Al Jefferson or Vucevic , but not a true star like Paul George or Blake Griffin.
I wouldn't trade that three players ( Warren, Len and #13) because I think Len and Warren can be borderline All Stars in the next few years, both have huge upside.

That package would be a huge overpay for Jefferson or Derozen. Vecevic is closer but there would need to be more from ORL. However I would just assume keep those players in leu of a Vecevic package.

Most importantly I agree that those assets come up short of a star. That is why I would advocate moving Bledsoe for a high pick. I think the move can increase our assets and in conjunction with other moves make us bad enough to get into the high lottery again next season.

Treading water in the 12-14 range is killing the Suns. After 5 years of competing for but missing the playoffs we do not have the assets to acquire the kind of players we need. McDonough had the opportunity to build around a Dragic, Bledsoe, Kieff core by committing to Frye last off season but he chose against it. Its time to fully commit to something different. If we do not have the assets to take a step forward blowing things up is better than maintaining the status quo.

So, some say that trash, trash, and more trash is too much for the #4 overall? I, along with a few others, have mentioned it multiple times, and I have yet for someone to explain how exactly Bledsoe and the Twins are worth anything positive for us.

If McD could swing that trade, he'd have to be considered one of the best GMs in the league. At this point in time, Bledsoe and the Morri have negative value. Look at the facts:

- Bledsoe starts year #2 of his deal, $13.5M, or 20%, or 1/5th of our Salary Cap ($67.1M) for 2015/2016. Next year, his $14M will be just 15% of the projected $89M, which is much more 'palatable'. Right now, Bledsoe is the 7th highest paid PG in the league; he is not the 7th best PG in the league--negative value (and yes, I understand it's not that simple, but the point still remains). Bledsoe did not progress this past year, IMO, and was very 'average'--great defense, poor BBIQ.

- The Morri--plain and simple, their play regressed from the previous season. Then add in their legal trouble, and you get negative value.

- PJ is the only player in that deal with positive value, but let's face it--PJ doesn't start on over half of the NBA teams.

And so, for that, fans want NY to give up Mudiay or Russell, or Okafor, for those pieces? I'm sorry, but I just don't see it. If anything, if McD can put together that, or a similar package, to trade with Miami/Charlotte, to secure a falling prospect--maybe a Stanley Johnson or Myles Turner, then sure. But the problem is, those guys hold a lot more value to us than any other team, because those 3 are our starters, yet 2 of those 3 wouldn't start on other teams.

I hate to be a negative nancy, but 'dems are the facts'. IMO, we just need to draft 13th, and look at some trades afterwards. Or, if these PFs (Portis/Lyles/Looney/Harrell) are dropping to the late teens, then trade back and try to pick up a pick next year. But for the love of all that is right in this world, PLEASE do not draft a PG like Payne, Grant, or Tyus Jones at 13--I might lose my mind if they do.

Bledsoe's numbers were pretty similar to the year before and averaging 17/5/6 isn't bad value, but that is just my opinion, not necessarily a fact. At times he made poor choices, but other times, he made good choices. He seemed to always find Warren when he was cutting to the basket, so maybe he just needs guys to move well without the ball, which many of our guys do not.

Last year, he seemed to have no trouble getting the ball to Plumlee on pick and rolls. He just may need more time with Len.

The thing I don't like about Bledsoe is the occasional laziness on both sides of the floor, but mainly the defensive side.

As for the Morris brothers, there was not a major regression at all. Minor regressions in some areas, and marginal increases in other areas. However, their salaries are very decent. Both put up similar numbers whether coming off the bench or starting, so a team could be very happy bringing them off the bench, and not feel like they are overpaying bench players. Their recent off court issues will be a problem this offseason, so our best hope for moving them is the increase their skills, and come out ready to play ball. I just don't see a draft day trade with them.

But, if they can get their act together, and the case gets put behind them, I think they could be either good bench players for us, or tradable assets in the near future.
