Or we trade it, because "we don't need any more young guys".

So watching this UCLA Washington State game and the Bruins running a lot of PnR with Zo early. He's making the right decisions but needs to slow down a little and run his man into the pick better. The bigs also need to set better picks. Passed up on one midranger for a trailer and got the assist got credit for two that he shouldn't have and bigs dropped 3 that should have been assist so that evens out lol. But yeah, a couple things to iron out with reps. He looks fine in PnR though.

I'm liking this Center from Gonzaga. He's athletic, got nice lift to his shot, will have more of an outside game eventually. Rebounds and blocks shots. His per 40 (yes, I know.) is off the charts. Hobo like.

Hard pass on anyone out of Gonzaga.

I'm assuming he's talking about Zach Collins who I think he'll be a very good player at the next level. I'm not sure he's coming out this season though. And if he's talking about the starter, Karnowski, I'd pass unless you can get him as an un-drafted player. He's 80 years old and has a scary list of medical issues but he could give the right team a nice backup center for a few years.

Collins bro, the other dude plays old man street ball at 22.

He's listed as 23 but like I said, I'm pretty sure he's actually 80. But if it weren't for his medical issues, he'd go high in this draft. He's simply too much for college kids to handle and will present problems in the NBA too if he can ever get down court.

Even at Kansas, which schedules as aggressively as anybody, the slate becomes tougher once Big 12 play arrives. Not surprisingly, Jackson, intensely bent on self-improvement, has improved against tougher competition.

Check out his November/December/January/February statistics in four categories: Scoring, rebounding, 3-point percentage, free-throw percentage.

Scoring: 14.1, 15.3, 17.3, 17.8.

Rebounding: 5.7, 6.7, 7.6, 8.2.

3-point percentage: .294, .222, .385, .478.

Free-throw percentage: .541, .545, .553, .582.

Other than a 3-point dip from November to December, Jackson improved every month in every category.

He's going to be special. Instant impact and as high of a ceiling as anyone in the draft if his shot continues to improve. I don't know if he'll ever be a PG like that article says, but Bill Self calling him the best passer on a team with the likely NPOY at PG really says something.

Unfortunately we are going to fall from top3. We'll miss JJ and regret it. :(

Obviously, our biggest need is a defensive C for the future. I wonder if Robert Williams can be a 5. He's so good defensively and can switch onto guards.

Yeah these last 3 wins were pretty unexpected and have been tough on our end of season draft odds, just gotta hope the Sixers and Magic can keep playing pretty well and that the basketball Gods finally smile on the Suns in the lottery.

I'm going to disagree on drafting a center high. The majority of NBA centers (many of whom were drafted quite high) are mediocre and overpayed. I'd rather take a flyer pick late on a senior who had a good career or a left-too-early freshman with physical tools. I'd take Amida Brimah in round 2 over Robert Williams in the top 10.

EDIT: Also, I think Chandler stays and starts next season, we don't re-sign Len, and Williams has been a fairly serviceable bench big. Not saying that we've got the position shored up, but we've got short-term solutions at that spot that we don't need to gamble on a big early.

Ideal rotations for next season:
Bledsoe/Ulis
Booker/DJJr/Barbosa
[Jackson/Tatum/Isaac]/TJ
Chriss/Bender/Dudley
Tyson/Williams/2nd Round Center

I'd be OK drafting top 5, after that I have my concerns with the prospects right now. I do trust McD to make the right draft choices to move us forward.

don't think this is the draft to go big anyway. Don't know how good you guys expect to be next year but the crop near the top is much better.
