You wouldn't wear a ring from a championship team you owned? :o

No, but I'm not a guy who wears rings. But I guess it's good to know people out there like you who owned an NBA team would wear that ring with pride. I just hope he doesn't measure his basketball success by WNBA championships to prove he is a great owner, because I'm not sure that is what he's been with the Suns.

Does it bother anyone else how many times Curry chews on his mouthpiece?

Over it. Everyone does it. Lebron does it, Durant does it. Virtually everyone who wears a mouth piece does it.

I've never heard him brag about the Mercury as one of his huge accomplishments in basketball, so I don't know if anyone can judge him on that, but it doesn't change the fact that he owns a multiple championship basketball team, right? And a team that was not a champion when he bought it. Which in a way shows that you can't judge an owner by the chips he or she has.

It doesn't bother me as much as the fouls that team is allowed to get away with. I actually have no desire to watch their games. Great shooters, decent ball movement, but damn, they foul on every possession on defense, and way too often on offense.

It's gross but someone told me it's harder to breath with it in so that's probably why they take it out during dead plays.

So, Gentry picked up by the Pelicans. Curious to see what he does with the brow.

It's the fact that he gnaws on it the entire game. I get taking it out to talk to teammates, etc but chewing on it is just bizarre to me.

Believe me, I don't disagree. It's nasty. I think it was Gerald Wallace who did it a lot. I don't want to see that thing while it's IN their mouth let alone them chewing on it. It's too bad the league doesn't do something about it.

As long as Klay plays, I think Warriors win and it won't be very close. 6 games max but I could see the W's in 5. The lack of depth from the Cavs is scary. Some guys on the Warriors bench would be starting for Cleveland.

That said, if the Cavs do win, I won't be upset. Just for the fans to finally see victory.
I only want the Warriors to win because they have many guys I'd like to see win a ring (starting with Barbosa and Gentry)

Didn't Amar'e have the chance to sign with the W's or Dallas and chose Dallas? What a mistake.

I chucked a 20 on the Cavs with the mindset Klay may not play some games.

Unless something catastrophic happens I can't see the Dubs losing this series. I'm picking them in 5 because Lebron is good enough to win a game by himself but two would be difficult and Irwing/Smith would really need to step up and have monster games.

Yeah, a Dragic/Wade/Durant/Bosh/Whiteside lineup would be fair.

I think Durant is going to stay in OKC. When he comes back, he will have Westbrook, Ibaka, Kanter, and whoever else with him. The team without him was really good. With him, they are a championship contender. By next season, Wade will be turning 34. Bosh will be turning 32. These guys are past their primes or towards the end of their primes. Kanter just turned 23 like twelve days ago. Ibaka is 25. Westbrook is 26. Durant is 26. He would also have to go through Lebron if he signed in the East. I truly thought if Durant was healthy, OKC would have been in the WCF because adding Kanter's inside scoring changed the whole team. The Thunder are ready right now while playing with Wade is incredibly risky because of his health unfortunately. OKC is going to be so awesome when Durant comes back. I just hope he is able to fully recover. The league needs him back.

Oh, I definitely agree. I think as much as people think he will bolt to the Wizards or wherever else, he is a guy that doesn't need the big city, loves his teammates and will stay. I just thought of that lineup and that sounded sick. Especially if they got a Ray Allen type shooter to come in for Wade.

And I think the Thunder have a good chance of winning the finals the last two years (and possibly this year) if they don't have key injuries.

If I was Durant I would prefer to play with Westbrook, Ibaka etc than with former stars past their prime. Only thing that OKC need to win it all is to stay healthy in the playoffs (better coaching may help too). Hard to find any team with more talent.

I hate to say it, but with Gentry's horrible luck, him being named to the Pels coach absolutly means The Brow is going to leave. Seems to be Alvins luck.
