Didn't hear of anything in specific what it was about when he came to Phoenix to visit last month but I'm guessing he knew his career was over and talked to Phoenix about an opportunity here with coaching or FO. Definitely will not be surprised with him joining the Suns after announcing retirement. Also, really close friends with Dragic and IT.

I met the guy one time and will never forget it. The avi is proof! :)

Eric Pincus: If Nash officially retires because of medical issue - and NBA signs off - his $ comes off Lakers books in April - doesn't really help much Twitter @EricPincus

Eric Pincus: If Nash is traded - and then retires - then no, his $ does not come off incoming team's books in April because existing issue Twitter @EricPincus

Eric Pincus: Looking closely at it - I think the most the Lakers would get in a disabled player exception for Nash is $4.85 mil - half his salary Twitter @EricPincus

I'd bring Nash in as assistant coach/shooting development coach.

If he doesnt take a Raptors FO job.

Would he even be able to? He's technically still on contract with the Lakers

Yeah, and just think, he could have stayed with the team and fans who loved him so much and the best training staff on the planet and stayed productive but his precious little Los Angeles fantasy got in the way of that.

You are so delusional.

You srsly don't know anything about why steve nash joined the lakers or why we are in such a good position now.

And if any suns fan can honestly hate steve nash they are **** in the head.

But most of us already know ur brain doesn't work properly.

I was tearing up watching a suns highlight real of steve nash today....Its a sad day.

Ill prob tear up again when he announces his retirement and when he joins the HOF.

Hope Steve gets better and can make a career for himself in other fields related to basketball. I know he is a big soccer fan but I hope he can join tnt, espn, nbatv....maybe be a coach or something.

Guy is an all time great. Had his best years in phoenix. Love the guy and hope the best for him.

We wouldn't be where we are today without steve nash. He wanted to stay in phoenix we were the ones that told him we wanted to move on....The lakers will give is a good pick if no this year. Thanks to nash and our fo. Where we were with nash on the team and where we are now is all thanks to nash.

Anyone that doesn't understand how much nash meant to our team isn't a suns fan at all. And I don't even know if burning heart is even a suns fan or a foul mouthed troll.

Suns wouldnt be where they are NOW if Nash stayed..

Him asking for a trade is a gift that keeps giving.....

if no one can see that positive i dunno what to say...

Sports is not just 100% heart... you gotta use some brains too..

Nash trade technically turned around the Suns fortunes...

I am a Suns fan.

You are not.

Also playing the who are you card? We only know of you cuz you are the biggest troll, foul mouthed, scum, on the forum.

Guess you like being the most hated person on this forum.

I wonder what team you are really a fan of.

Your posts are so void of intelligence or anything meaningful...just pure hate. And I actually think I should take this time to apologize because you might have tourettes and are incapable of thinking.
