I'll take TJ over him.

I agree 100%. If we give TJ time, he can become something special...

I'd go with Warren too.

I think this salary cap space is a bit of a red-herring, as every player who gets their contract extended will be wanting 30% more, so within 3-4 years you'll fill it up organically, including with Len / Warren / Booker extensions which will cost 20-30m extra on their own.

I'll say this. If we are going to max out one of Barnes, Horford, and Batum as rumored, I'd rather Barnes due to age. That said, Barnes is the reason this is going to a game 7. He is absolutely murdering them. If his shot isn't falling, he needs to attack the rim when open.

I'd rather go with Batum who is only 27 and a proven player. Barnes has not done anything yet, benefitting from playing alongside Curry, like back in the day Suns playing alongside Nash. Pass.

Barnes has not done anything yet?????? Thats BS! He has done something...... he has shown that he is not worth a max contract, nor a non max contract, nor the rookie contract that he currently on. He has shown that he is nothing more than a role player at best, and even then, he is one of those role players that is like your 12th man and is only thrown in for garbage minutes during a blowout. I mean look at how well he plays on a good team, with players like Curry and Thompson who command a double team. Being on a team like GS should make his job easier, but he sucks so hard that he cant even get that right. Put him on our team and his play would be even worse. Much much much worse.

Someone on the Boston board who is said to be a reliable source says #3/Bradley is close for Butler. He says that if the C's keep the pick Chriss is their guy as Ainge was not impressed with Bender when he went to scout him overseas. I expect the Suns to draft either Bender or Chriss or perhaps McD pulls some kind of Oakafor trade. Can't wait for Bender to come in on Saturday so we can finally get some info from his workout.

Hmm...very intriguing.
Those rumors of Bender falling, might actually be on target. Chriss/Murray/Buddy at 4?? :gossip:

Yeah... As intriguing a prospect as Bender is, I always wondered who would draft him if we passed at 4. I mean, DraftExpress has him going to Denver at 7, but I'm not seeing much separation between the power forward prospects. It's going to be a lot of development whoever you go with. Murray, Buddy, Dunn, Poeltl and Brown seem to have some distance between them and the other prospects at their position. I wouldn't be surprised if even Baldwin climbed a little higher - currently mocked at 12. So that's 8 players (including Simmons and Ingram) that I think are cuts above the other prospects at their position (yes, to varying degrees, but I think most people would agree). Bender, Chriss, Ellenson, Skal, Davis make it 13. We have 4 and 13. I'm willing to bet one of these guys is there at 13. As much as people are resisting to drafting a perimeter guy at 4, there appears to be a glut of bigs later in the draft - Sabonis, Diallo, Hernangomez, Yabusele, Maker, Cornelie, Brice Johnson, Siakam, Robert Carter, Bentil, Bolomboy... 16 (17 if you want to include Simmons) guys listed as power forwards in DraftExpress's latest mock getting drafted, and this isn't even including some small forwards or centers like Zhou Qi and Stephen Zimmerman that might play some power forward... that's over 1/4 of the draft in a sport that has 5 positions... I think you skip it at 4 and draft 2 guys at 13 and 28.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

In Barnes, Phoenis will get one of the most versatile small forwards in the NBA.

Ok, they mentioned trading Booker. Therefore, they are now on my block list :)

With Woj's news that, if James wins a title this year, he may bolt Cleveland. If that's the case, and I'm him, I look at Minnesota. Imagine adding him there with all that young talent? Or even Washington.

I know it's EXTREMELY unlikely, but maybe with Bledsoe, Booker, and Chandler in Phoenix, he'd consider coming here. Regardless, peeps should root for the Cavs in game 7 in the most minute of chances he'd consider us.

I wouldn't believe any Celtics rumors if Ainge told me info directly to my face. That said if Bradley/3 is close than so is Warren/4.

If James leaves, he'll go nation building somewhere else.I could easily see the Clips being involved, moving Griffin somewhere and having both Durant and James join up with Doc and CPaul. Of course McMully will line up to kiss a sister.

Not really, Bradley is basically Tony Allen's succesor with an outside shot and he is a proven commodity. Also yeah these Ainge leaks are most likely smokescreens, if he keeps the pick he will likely draft a 4 so Chicago would rather have the option to choose between Bender/Chriss. (although they already have Mirotic/ Portis so maybe Dunn as a DRose replacement?)
