Unscrupulous "journalists" taking quotes out of context for clicks is a plague. They know exactly what they're doing but it's all about engagement.

Thanks for clearing it up, but you didn't really need a quote from Ishbia to know he's paying Royce and GA. Our window is 2-3 years at best and we have no picks, he's paying whatever it takes

Suns defensive rating ranking, for each month:

November: 23rd
December: 18th
January: 13th
February: 9th
March (so far): 5th

Most encouraging stat of the season to me. Trusting Nurk in multiple schemes, trading for Royce, unleashing Bol Bol...so much has gone into this.

I will say that Nurk needs to be careful about offensive fouls though. you can't have defensive impact if you are on the bench.

You have to watch the whole video. That one quote is taken out of context, just like Ayton's used to...take one snippet out of a longer interview.

In the newsfeed on this forum there is an article about Ishbia and the second apron.

This kind of shows that all the Vogel hate (being a defensive coach) is a bit over the top, particularly since we had an easy schedule for the first half of the season and it's gradually getting tougher.

I wonder what's going through Silver's head as Ishbia is essentially trying to make a mockery of the salary cap rules and achieving the very thing Silver is trying to prevent in teams with deep wallets paying to assemble a championship roster.

I wouldn't be surprised if they make even further restrictions with resigning your free agents like you lose Bird rights or you get capped out at how much you can resign a player you had from the previous year.

ain’t no one take Ayton’s quotes out of context. Edit: Wellll I quoted the wrong post apparently

What is the effectiveness of a Nurk, Bol, KD front line? It seems to be disruptive. Small sample size i know.

Might be my BolBolBias acting up tho.

Their cumulative size and length creates significant coverage issues for opposing offenses trying to score in around the paint, etc. And Nurkics' physical style of play is complimented nicely by both Bols' and KDs' length and versatility when opposing defenses collapse and double on Nurkic due to his physical play creating significant gravity in the post.

Bol and KD are just so long and skilled, that they can practically use their length to get right close to the rim for easy scoring when the collapse happens. Now we just need to utilize the draft cleverly to add rangy, switchable lockdown defenders. AND some more athletic, physical talents / rim protection with size, versatility. :D

I think we ending in TOP 6 in our conference , so pick would be 18-22

The draft would be weak so I didn’t see any chance to steal like Brandin in previous draft

Return to Phoenix Suns
