We've heard this same BS excuse for multiple seasons now at a;ll levels! Ohhh the coaches are learning, and the players are learning, Now new owners have a learning curve so sympathize with all of their egregious mistakes even though the consequences which they blatantly ignored were there in plain sight for anyone to see.

And they even had everyone from NBA experts to fans, and pundits advising against it! But they CHOSE TO IGNORE IT because they thought they were simply smarter than everyone else and would prove everyone wrong! Now we're reaping what they sowed. But they're still continuing to double, triple, and quadruple down. :nonono:

Probably has nothing to do with the coaching. Players are just checked out and probably checked out quicker this year because last year also was a drag.

As they say the rot starts from the head and it's too bad Ishbia won't divest from managing this team.

The parallels between him and Elon Musk are very similar, Musk sees the govt as his shiny new toy to play with and Ishbia has the Suns as his real life toy where he can play GM and make horrible transactions and mess things up.

Can we please stop thinking rich people are geniuses because they're insanely rich?

Most of us don't give a sh- what your politics are. Respectfully please take it somewhere else.

It's a bad concoction from the coaches on down to the players. Obviously that was influenced by the new owner trying to make a splash using an outdated Big 3 format and a GM who's doing his bidding.

The tear down is staring Matty boy right in the face - the question is how much longer is he going to prolongue the pain.

Nico Harrison is also learning to never again trade a top 5 superstar for an injury prone star. I wonder how long it’ll take Ishbia to learn and adjust maybe??? Maybe in 2035 he will finally open his eyes and admit his mistakes maybe a bit longer. Once again he’s learning.. sigh

This really shouldn't be such a difficult calculus for Ishbia, Jones, and many others apparently. But oddly enough some people including our misguided and delusional narcissistic owner himself are still trying to rationalize and promote keeping this trio together by not choosing to aggressively trade Durant and instead reload on the margins....LOL. There's just too much dysfunction, redundancy, and ill-fit/ bad chemistry with this roster. Our entire culture is toxic and incredibly soft/passive and without direction or purpose.

Our head coach is abysmally bad, and our owner and GM are delusional narcissistic fraudulent clout chasers with no legitimate concept of roster construction or value assessment. It couldn't be clearer to anyone that this whole thing needs to be blown up/ torn down and rebuilt from the very foundation. So why does Ishbia continue to push this franchise off the cliff and into a bottomless abyss of irrelevance??

When the truth finally comes out (if it ever does) and everyone discovers the true purpose behind why not only Harrison but also Dumont, Pelinka, Lebron, and even Adam Silver himself colluded to make this lopsided trade in favor of the Flakers while sabotaging the Mavs franchise in the process, people will then see this trade for what is truly was. A collusion-based business deal with multiple personal agendas even beyond basketball and competitive team construction.

Again, Christian Braun would be a terrific Allen replacement (allowing us to more easily trade him) if we decide to trade KD to Denver!

I like this idea to fix things, But maybe trade Down (depending upon who's there for us) and swap our 4th pick (from Houston/ KD trade) for Brooklyns' 20th and 24th picks in this draft, and for their 26' 1st lottery protected).

I saw someone mention that CP3, Booker, KD, and Ayton were 8-1 together. We should have given them another chance. And then we would have kept Toumani too.

I cannot argue with the fact that we have not been good, but that tweet speaks less to the three measured than it does to Jones and whomever else was on the floor at the time. It would only be valid if this was a three man league. It's an example of how to use statistics to distort. It is particularly misleading about KD and Book, IMO, who are the only two teammates in the top ten scorers. For example, SGA (leading the league) and Jalen Williams average 53.6 points and Giannis (second) and Dame -- 57 points. It doesn't seem to me that Kevin and Devin are really our problem at 53 points.

First of all. Stop with the politics. This is sports and I'm so sick of the modern generation of players picking sides in politics including that darn Adam Silver. Regardless of you religion, political sides, sports should be left alone... it's where people share things in common with. You can trash other fans from a sports perspective and that's OK and it's welcome, because it's how sports is.

Now you mentioning Musk is hilarious because my BTC (he's a crypto spruiker) and Tesla shares show that he knows what he's doing so from that sense he's good but also he is eccentric and can be really concerning but I am yet to see any of that. If anything you Americans should be fighting tooth and nail to ensure your taxes are used for your benefits and not those who live on another country. But as I said... political posts here in RealGM should be automatically deleted by mods.... look at Reddit, once a great free forum for all , now an echo chamber for leftists.
