Sigh. I am not that kind of basketball fan. I don't care what kind of music TJ listens to or what size of shoes he wears. I want to know what he thinks about his own game and how he will improve. What does he think this team needs to do to improve. What does he like about the new coach.

Anyone think Tj at 6"8 230 can actually be the starting pf in Igor's system with Ayton at C and Josh at Sf. He has improved his man on ball defense but his help and awareness is not great. Tj scored 20 a game last year so to just say Josh comes along and gets him benched is kinda wrong. Or do we find a starting Pf somewhere else (cause at this point it aint Dragon or Quese). OR.... Ayton at pf and draft a guy like Mitchell Robinson at C Or... something else?? Dont know, I lost myself there.

No. Too small, doesn't rebound well enough, can't spread the floor, can't defend bigs. You can't roll out a line up with Tj/JJ/C with none of them being able to space the floor.

It's weird because I always thought about TJ as a 4.

Yeah, I think that Warren and Josh can/will play together a lot next season. Both can switch everything.
Some reasons:

A lot of small ball out there...easier for both to defend PFs like Tucker, Rondae HJ, Tatum, Barnes...

Josh Jackson is not a rookie anymore, so he will be stronger and smarter. He is gonna be able to defend 1 to 4 in his prime IMO if he improves his dedication to defense.

And I expect some improvement on their shooting.

Nah.

I see Warren as our 6th man.

I wouldn't count Bender or Chriss out yet. They have never had a good coach. If they suck with Igor after next season then the Suns should move on with them.

Warren as 6th man makes a lot more sense than starting him at the 4 just to get him into the starting line up.

Hopefully someone on the Suns staff has Warren look at film on Bernard King.

Trae hitting Warren on a break would be good too.

Who ever said they should? And I don’t remember that happening last season either?

On his exit interview, he was asked if he would be willing to come off the bench. Lots of fans are slotting JJ and Bender as the forwards and suggesting TJ come off the bench.

So what did he say, in reply to the question, about coming off the bench?
