Don't know how we could get him(Mocks in the 20's)...using a top 5 pick on him might be a stretch. I don't know if there's a better shooter in this draft.

Top 5 is more than just a stretch. I really like Luke, I think his shooting is truly elite and his IQ is great. But he is probably the worst defender in the draft and is limited because of his athleticism. But I think he can be a starter in the league, I wouldnt use a lotto on him but I think 15th is a stretch but it could be a solid pick. Should go around 20 though.

Showed a nice handle, jumper, post game, drive, dish
If Giles falls to the second round I'd take a chance on him with one of our seconds.

No. As a freshman in college, yes, though Warren was a much more efficient scorer. Tatum better as freshman defensively and at rebounding, steals, assists, etc.
TJ stayed a sophomore though and was an elite scorer and won ACC player of the year in the best conference, beating out Jabari Parker.
Tatum as a rookie wouldn't be nearly as good as TJ though. Long term, he would likely be a better all around player, but TJ in all likelihood the better scorer.
Here are their college #s.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Yeah his offensive game is very polished for someone who turns 19 a month before the draft. He gets buckets and makes it look easy.

Re: College basketball and 2017 draft
Only thing to worry about Fultz is... he lost every single game as an underdog in the college.
That's quite a feat
DSJr at least won 3 games (one of them against Duke and a blowout against VA Tech)

I shouldn't have missed that. So he basically can really do both but is actually better as a SG, even his ast % goes up. But a backcourt with Booker would still work as both are good passers, but he could play with Ulis, Bledsoe, whoever.

I think Ball will be a better NBA player than Fultz. But Fultz's numbers are amazing. Fultz, Ball, Jackson. It would be nice to get one of those three.

Re: College basketball and 2017 draft
Malik Monk had his 2nd really bad game in a row today. 2 pts, 2 rebs, 1 ast, 1 stl, 2 tos on 1/7 from the field and 0/2 from FT against Georgia. Definitely not how he wants to be closing out the regular season.
Excited for Duke vs UNC, ND vs FSU, and UCLA vs Ehrizona today, all should be good games with good prospects.

Yep, but it's just his raw data compared with PG's and SG's drafted since 2011.
I dont think we can sort his production in different positions right now in college. Very limited data.

Many of the top prospects on espn tonight...first Duke vs NC, then ND vs Florida St, then UCLA vs AZ, so you got Tatum, Isaac, Ball and Markkanen.

If those measurements hold true, he can play center in the NBA, especially if his standing reach is good too.
If guys like Diaw and Green can play C in the NBA, i dont see why Williams cant either.
But then, with that being said, maybe its just me, but in my head, it seems like C's being drafted have the highest bust rate. Now im not saying that Williams will be a bust, but just seems like when all is said and done, C's usually get drafted (and pretty high), and end up being end-of-the-bench rotation guys.
But like i said, maybe its just me.
To me, Williams has an intriguing skillset, but is also highly lacking in some facets. His post game is really nowhere to be seen, he is still really really raw, and i think he is one of those guys that might end up blossoming 4-5 years down the line. Im also scared of draft prospects that kind of emerge from out of nowhere. He wasnt even a top 50 recruit, yet after 30 games is being considered a early to mid lotto pick in a stacked draft? That kind of scares me a bit. I think more than anything Williams is being looked at damn near strictly for his potential, which makes him a high risk/ high reward draft choice. The kid is a superb defender first and foremost. he has great size (at least his arms) and is also a great rebounder as well. All things that i look for in a C. But for some reason i get a very Biyombo vibe from him, which could be good and bad.

Re: College basketball and 2017 draft
I got this Kentucky felling we'll draft Monk
We're 2-3 deep at all positions with youngins except SG. As far as small bench back court someone said... he's the same size as LB and probably out weighs him.
Hope I'm wrong about my feels
