It is a good trade, but I think we have too many draft choices in the next 2 years, so I prefer trade for players now.
What about Derrik Williams?
"Williams went from starting at power forward to not playing a single minute in Wednesday's game as Kevin Love returned from a broken hand."
He is 21 years old only (2 years younger than Morris), and he has skills and seems a hard worker.
I would make an offer to the Twolves:
Shannon Brown (with Roy out they need an SG)
Return his 2013 pick + Lackers pick (2013 or 2015)

We already have somewhat of a logjam at PF. If you bring in Derek Williams you should be sending out Morris because you have to commit to one or the other going forward not both.

Unless you're drafting 3 Euros that are staying in Europe that's just crazy.

It's just speculation based on this Gortat interview from few days ago.

I don't think Celtics have enough assets for Gortat.
I don't mind Sullinger and Avery.
But Suns have no room for another PF.
A 3-way must happen.

Terrible trade....Don't want any of those players. Bradley is alright, but I worry about his injury. Suns could get better assets for Gortat.

Re: Official Trade Thread: Part 3
I dont know if his comment to the Polish news actually would spark us to trade him, but an article like the one about Boston could really spark off a bidding war with a hell of a lot of teams for Gortat. This could turn into a situation where we actually get an offer we cant refuse as an orginazaton. Kind of like when the news of Nash going to Ny. set off a frenzy between Ny. Tor. Dal. and the Fakers (allowing us to recieve much more than we thought we ever could for him), this could really scare a team into overbidding for him so he cant fall into the Celtics hands.
A real wait and see as to if this peaks teams interests in Gortat to the point of thinking of him as a must have before the rival gets him.

Re: Official Trade Thread: Part 3
I really like Avery Bradley, he is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league and a good scorer who does not need the ball ( like Marion).
He can be an All Star, but his shoulder can be a constant problem in the next years...I do not know.

Re: Official Trade Thread: Part 3
I don't know about Bradley. he seems really small for a SG at 6'2" and 180 pounds. That's smaller than Steve Nash
. I haven't looked at his defensive stats, but he just seems too small to last long guarding stronger, bigger more physical 2's.

With Gortat declining his extension I take it at some point this season we are shipping him out?

Bradley is 6'3" with shoes and build like a brick. He is strong and athletic, he is slightly undersized but he is a terrific defender. He can press point guards all the court, and fight through screens perfectly to catch SG. He can defend the two positions, but in offense he is clearly (for now) an SG, plays better off the ball.
BTW, Nash always has been 6'2" with shoes, he is not 6'3", no way.

Umm in the gortat thread this was posted:
"Przeglad Sportowy also reports that Gortat rejected an extension offer from the Suns and that the Orlando Magic. Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls are interested in trading for him. Wonder where they got that information?"

How much would you want for Markief Morris and Jared Dudley? It would be a three-way deal with Gasol sent elsewhere.

It would be pretty high, as we love us some Morris and he looks like he will be our PF of the future. Dudley is a wash. He has been good for us in the past years, but has really stunk it up this year. He is a much better hustle player coming off the bench than he is as a starter, which is where we have been playing him.
What 3rd team were you looking at sending Gasol to? We would HAVE to get a young PF in return with as much potential as Morris has. That is a must. He also cant be a Tweener either! I have seen enough 3way ideas with us getting Derrick Williams in return, and that is a no go. We already have Beasley, and we all know how the Beasley/Williams duo went last year.
