As i remember Barkley pissed away two amazing chances at a championship AFTER that 92-93. Rumors of him getting plastered during the playoffs were we abound, and its thought that that was the reason we lost to the Rockets in consecutive years.

We forgave him for that....

You remember the famous Michael Jordan battling the flu in the playoffs? People within the know say it was actually him with a hangover from the night before, partying. Many players have and still party nights before games. Nothing new.

If I ever agree with you in the future, know that the first time it happens I'll skip the And 1 because I accidentally gave you one on this post. And I don't agree with you here. It wasn't someone in the know it was Jalen Rose. He is never in the know and he's acknowledged before that he had no facts, just an unsupportable opinion. Also, you should read the whole article you pointed us too as even that guy doubts the accuracy of Jalen's wild opinion.

You are so delusional.

And if any suns fan can honestly hate steve nash they are **** in the head.

But most of us already know ur brain doesn't work properly.

Anyone that doesn't understand how much nash meant to our team isn't a suns fan at all. And I don't even know if burning heart is even a suns fan or a foul mouthed troll.

Dude ... chill out. On this board we discuss the Suns (and ex-Suns) and you can take one side or the other. But for gods sake don't resort to name calling or personal character attacks. That is the stuff of trolls.

1. lol, are you serious BurningHeart is the one poster who calls other suns fans he doesn't agree with "f%#king idiots".
I never see you call him out to calm down.

2. I've had plenty of moments and I'm sure many here too who can't be bothered arguing with BurningHeart because it'll just be pointless... But this one time a poster, sloveniandragon ,finally decides to exchange blows ... I say go for it until one poster is banned, which I doubt will happen anyways. Let it all out!

Well, lol. There was actually two articles there and if you google it there are more people who verified the story. Again use Google it's great. But you keep doing what your doing if it makes you feel good. And on top of that you missed the whole point.

Just a question. You honestly think players don't party before games? If you do, I'm speechless. Have a good night.

I think there was a time when just about every player partied after a game. I don't think it's as true today, most of these guys are smarter about what it takes to keep in shape. I'm sure that Jalen Rose played hungover, drunk, stoned and whatever. I doubt Michael did. So yeah, I agree with the essence of your post, just not the Rose comment. I'd feel safer on the Titanic than I would relying on anything that came out of Jalen's mouth. And I watched the game in question, that did NOT look like a hangover to me and I've had and seen my fair share of them.

Thanks for the respectfully reply. I appreciate it. And your point is good.
I also agree jalen rose doesn't have much to say that is note worthy. I should have found a better article.

Lately our forum hasn't seen this type of egregious behavior which typically ruins good threads. So a new poster comes in and starts ratcheting things up. I can't recall seeing anything in the last few months that caught my eye like this, but I don't read every thread in super detail. I just prefer to read good threads, which we've had a lot of lately as opposed to you're a douche, idiot, have HUA, etc, etc, etc. Guess I leave it up to Kerrsed and the mods.

You are so delusional.

You srsly don't know anything about why steve nash joined the lakers or why we are in such a good position now.

And if any suns fan can honestly hate steve nash they are **** in the head.

But most of us already know ur brain doesn't work properly.

I was tearing up watching a suns highlight real of steve nash today....Its a sad day.

Ill prob tear up again when he announces his retirement and when he joins the HOF.

Hope Steve gets better and can make a career for himself in other fields related to basketball. I know he is a big soccer fan but I hope he can join tnt, espn, nbatv....maybe be a coach or something.

Guy is an all time great. Had his best years in phoenix. Love the guy and hope the best for him.

We wouldn't be where we are today without steve nash. He wanted to stay in phoenix we were the ones that told him we wanted to move on....The lakers will give is a good pick if no this year. Thanks to nash and our fo. Where we were with nash on the team and where we are now is all thanks to nash.

Anyone that doesn't understand how much nash meant to our team isn't a suns fan at all. And I don't even know if burning heart is even a suns fan or a foul mouthed troll.

And 1UPZ ... It's pretty clear who is the instigator.

Hmm a poster who comes in to a Suns forum and questions the integrity of one of the greatest Suns players ever who just unfortunately suffered an injury...you don't think the fan base will react against that poster?

Please tell BurningHeart to go post on the Flakers forum about how much of a POS Kobe is if Kobe suffers another season ending injury or the sort. I'd love to see how well he will be treated. I have no doubt the hardcore Flakers fans will try to track his IP address and pay him a good visit in person (especially since he lives in LA itself) to teach him some manners. Yes, that's how much they go crazy for and love Kobe even despite his overpaid contract and maybe behavior/demeanor/personality hurting the team.

Same for every single team forum. You make fun or mock an All Time Great the minute he gets injured, guess what? Get ready to pay the consequences.

Sure you are entitled to your opinion about Steve Nash's integrity and dedication to this team (even though it's my opinion that you have to be a moron if you really believe this). But show some class and don't do it as soon as news comes out that he suffered a season/career ending injury.

Question Nash's integrity some other time not as soon as news breaks out that he's out for the year.

As for BurningHeart not posting profanity filled rants/posts, please. Maybe you haven't been as active on this board lately. Go through his recent post history and you'll see most of his posts are still sensored out with ****.

Yall remember Josh Childress?

Josh Childress Ejected After Nasty Elbow

You may remember Josh Childress from his stints on a few NBA teams, starting with the Atlanta Hawks in 2004.

Childress now plays in Australia for the Sydney Kings of the National Basketball League, and it looks like he has made some enemies there.

After getting flat-backed on a big (although legal) screen from Jesse Wagstaff of the Perth Wildcats, Childress went full speed ahead to deliver a nasty elbow to the face of Wagstaff.

He'd eventually be ejected.

It was sad news for Dragic, who was mentored by Nash since he was a rookie. They shared a career path of being drafted by Phoenix behind a star point guard, getting traded and returning to star.

"I feel bad because I still know what kind of desire he had to play one more year," Dragic said. "I know he tried everything. He had a great influence on me. He was there with a shoulder when I needed the help. I'm always going to be grateful for that."

Worried about Miles Plumlee, -15 today on the +/-

You and Hornacek

We have a clear problem at 5...Horny knows it and McDonough knows it for sure, hopefully we are looking some options out there.

It wont be surprised if but 2-3 weeks into the season, we will have a 'Trade for a Center' thread. This plan to run KeifMo at the 5, Tucker 4, and 3 PGs is not small ball.... its Tiny Ball. ('look at the size of that PorkChop'... Tiny E) Keif is not Stat, Tucker is not Marion, and no one is Nash. To me, this reeks of 'stop gap measure'-ing. Its not what we want, but its what we have.

I expect changes to be made to add legitimacy to the front court....
else the most popular thread around here will be the '2015 Official Draft' one.

Damn it's the best post I have read in awhile. Someone here said it doesn't matter what the average size of our team is....they were dead wrong.

Anyway what's that old saying? Oh yeah, "you can't teach size!" It's so true.

I know you know this but our problem isn't size, it's talent with size. If Plumlee and Len were just average at their jobs we'd be a very good team. Hopefully this is just preseason blues but right now it's looking like Jeff is going to have to go the smoke and mirrors route. Being able to run our three combo guards out there is a tremendous weapon and it will force a lot of adjustments from opponents. But if you have to use it regularly they will find the adjustment that works and then you're just a small team that looks cute every now and then.

Playing small is fine here and there and minimal. But like you said our bigs lack talent so they don't get used much which brings it back to small ball out of necessity. Anyway, yeah the size lacks talent. I would say the vast majority of quality teams have quality size. But we are debating on something we agree on.

All homerism aside, realistically with this roster, 40 wins is about right. I'm not gonna get disappointed with 40 wins because it's what I expect and why I'm not too excited about this year "currently." Let's all hope Ryan Mcd has something up his sleeve. I don't like taking a step back from last year which I can say I am a little disappointed in and feel we have.

Again, we now have a few smart people in the front office, I'm sure they see this and are working it.
