How long are the Suns gonna sit there with their thumb up their ass and not make a trade?

I know it takes two to tango but there's no way in hell that other teams hate our players and don't want them. We actually don't have any really bad contracts on this team either.

I hope we continue to lose so the FO realizes there's a major problem here. I see no current path out of this mediocrity.

McD needs to pull the trigger and sell high on Dragic before its too late and he irredeemably devalues himself as a trade commodity and the suitors hang up the phone. I would throw in Bullock, and whatever chumpchange needed to get that Harris deal done ASAP. Hopefully he is on the market

Sucks to be a Suns fan right now. If players sometimes need a change of scenery, maybe we too deserve to see a better team on the floor. Hope we dont **** stand pat this coming trade deadline. Get it, McD please.

i'd imagine that deal would have to include TJ Warren

Was excited for Warren to get playing time. Sucks I'll have to wait for injuries or knocked up girlfriends for it to happen again.

Especially since non of Green, Marcus, Tucker are really better than him.

McD only makes winning trades. He isn't going to make a move if it isn't the right one. Its easy to say something needs to be done but if the options aren't there than what should he do?

What exactly are you basing this off of other than "he scored a lot in college and the D-League"?

I love Warren, but so many here are, in my eyes, underestimating how difficult it is for a rookie to actually make an impact in their first year. It's the same kind of thinking that leads people to think Kentucky could beat the worst team in the NBA.

It looks like no key guys are on the block
Just role players.

OKC is bound at one point to go on a 10 game win streak you can see it coming.
They won't play 500 ball for 82 games.

Dragic is going to be hard to move. Look at what Rondo pulled earlier this year a bunch of nothing really.

Find a way to move IT he is one of the best 6th man scores in the NBA and is locked oh for awhile. Should be takers to any team who needs a 6th man.

Just curious... To attempt for the suns to get back to last years system would you guys do this?

Thomas for Hawes? *ignore the griffin injury aside*

Back to only using the two PG rotation.
Bledsoe
Dragic
Tucker
Hawes
Len

Go back to always playing one of either dragic or Bledsoe. Suns don't lose the scoring if you ask me because Gerald goes back into 6th man role and now has set plays for him instead of chuck 24/7.

Back to posting him up on 2s or 1s, having him come off screens for shots etc. also puts markieff back in his right role.

More then all helps dragic with his high screen game hawes opens up the floor more

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Well, it is not smart to pull the trigger before you know the best deal. The deadline is the 19th. I expect if there are trades, it will be during the all star break.

I wonder if McD would trade the twins and IT for Love (I know the salaries don't match)...I know he would have traded the twins for Love this offseason without a guarantee, but I wonder if he would roll the dice on a guy many people are down on, and perhaps the Cavs.

I'm sure many here would not want the Suns to do this sort of deal. I'm not sure. I actually like the twins, but I think Love would fit perfectly on this team. I also hear those who say Love isn't a winner, but to counter that I am not entirely sure a person who can lead the league in rebounding, hit 3s, pass, etc, and be a premiere player, can not be part of a winning team. The big question would be is if he would re-sign.

The thing about trades is, I think he is probably the ONLY player that MIGHT make us better this year that is available, and it would cost us the twins, and if Love didn't stay, it would be in hindsight or horrible mistake.

I don't know if Bosh is available. I doubt it...but if he is, perhaps he would be the guy. But I don't know how far he takes us. Not past second round.

Woj reported last summer that Love isn't interrsted in resigning here.

If Love is gonna go to a non playoff team, he will probably just go home to the Lakers. Love/Randle/Okafor with TON of cap space after Kobe retires would be quite a future.

I am sure 90% of the people around here would not like the IT for Hawes idea but I would do that one in a heartbeat. I think the Suns would have rather signed Hawes in the offseason anyway, but he opted for the Clips and we decided to use the space on the best asset we could get.

I know Hawes has been a disappointment, but I think he may just need a change of scenery, and we could use depth at the big positions. He blocks shots and hits 3s.

Honestly I think Warren is probably a better NBA player in the long run (and maybe even now) than Harris so I don't have any idea why we would trade for Harris. I like him as a player quite a bit, but he isn't any better than who we have and he is going to be paid.

I know, but after this experience, you have to wonder if coming to Phoenix, and getting to the playoffs for the first time, and being embraced by the coach and team would make him re-sign after being in horrible situations. Would he REALLY want to leave for a crap team?

I know we might not make the playoffs if we trade for him, but that would be the thinking if McD DID make a trade...that we would hopefully make the playoffs and convince him to stay.

His rebounding would help us immensely. I think we are actually the perfect team for him, when Len is in the lineup.

If winning is his priority, wouldn't he just stay with the Cavs?

Isn't the Cavs record with him, LBJ and Mozgov in the lineup like 15-3 or something?

CAVS are clicking and they play in the East for a good coach.

Not sure why he would leave that to resign here even if we make playoffs and get spanked in the first round.

With the Cavs, that team is a lock to win at least one series and will probably at least go to conference finals every year.

Return to Phoenix Suns
