Anyone think maybe McD didn't really want Dragic in the first place? He wasn't the one who originally signed him. His age doesn't fit with the rest of our core. He is not a strong defender. Is it possible all of the "we want to keep him" stuff before the leaks was just us upping his trade value? I'll admit I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but that seems to be what everyone else is doing anyways.

Yes, I think he initially planned to trade him along with Gortat and Scola, and was looking for good deals and then the team started overachieving so much that the story of the team prevented him from doing so. Then he was kind of stuck. Signing IT, if he wanted to start, was still a bad move even if he was planning on moving Dragic. And even if it was for insurance on Bledsoe, do you really want IT as your starting point guard?

Here's the better question going forward...do you really want IT as your starting shooting guard?

I assumed signing IT was more asset collection. He would be a great 6th man, not a starter, question is if he can accept that fact himself

Karl wanted to speak with Dragic. He declined and his agent advised the Kings he would under no circumstance resign. After his public comments the Celtics pulled out. Dragic's agent is trying to force his way to the big markets so he can get a five year deal.

Damn, the ONE time the Lakers and Knicks have ZERO assets, our guy is trying to force his way to one of them. I can't see either one of them giving us their first round pick this year (unprotected or removed protection) or Randle.

It likely comes down to a wine and dine war.

Get rid of his punk ass and get someone who knows something about treating players as players and not pixels and code in a **** video game. Get rid of Jeff Hornacek and his **** ass for letting some punk ass loser from Boston tell him how to coach a basketball team and relegating his star guard to nothing in order to fulfill his jerkoff fantasy of two "baller" guards. Get rid of Isaiah Thomas, for being a selfish cocksmoocher who's now driven two teams to madness. Get rid of Eric Bledsoe for being a primadonna, "mini-Bron" **** who took so goddamn long in the offseason and helped create this disaster in the first place. Get rid of Markieff Morris and his butt buddy boyfriend of a brother so they can fight at playgrounds and make lazy ass passes elsewhere. Get rid of PJ Tucker so he can drink and drive all he wants without driving into a **** cactus at 3am. Get rid of Gerald Green and his **** mentality so he can shoot with nobody under the basket to rebound his 2-15 shooting nights.

Start the team with Alex Len, TJ Warren, Tyler Ennis. A real center, a real scorer, and real point guard. **** everyone else.

This is one broken ass franchise that even the love child of Aaron Nelson and Jesus Christ himself can't heal.

This whole experience has really soured me on Dragic. Sure, the situation isn't ideal, but the way he's been handling it in the media has rattled me. Dragic was the heart of this team last year and it's clear he hasn't been entirely enthused this season. It just makes me sad.


I still maintain that IT was a good signing at the time (IT>>>Ish) and that you sign Bledsoe long term over Dragic 9 times out of 10. I also maintain that you can't sign Dragic to a long-term Bledsoe type deal when you have plenty of young guards itching to take his place. So, I guess the end result of that is Dragic being dealt at the deadline anyway. I just wish it didn't come with so much bad blood.

He was excellent before his injury. 12 and 7 in 27 minutes. Good shot blocker and showed he had the ability to develop a 3pt shot.
Injury concern would be a gamble no doubt.

Wants a big market but says no to the Celtics. So basically he only wants to go to the Knicks/Lakers...

He didn't say no they pulled out after his press conference.

Anyone who knows basketball knows its all about flow, chemistry and playing as one. Its not NBA 2K. Tatoos and headbands and chest bumping don't win games. Cool factor doesn't win games.

Playing for each other and a common goal win games. IT, Dragic apparently value 20ppg and 40min a night more than aligning on a goal and chasing it with happy happy, hungry hearts.

Did you see Bledsoe scream at Tucker the other night for stepping out of bounds? Bledsoe is quiet and unemotional mostly. But he has a fire in him.

IT chose to sign here. I cant wait until hes traded. He will be playing in China by 2017. Bank on that. Thats where his game belongs. He can be leage fing mvp and average a googol per game in m fing china.

Your opening statement seems to count against Bledsoe yet you state that he's the positive in all of this. You're entitled to your opinion but it seemed like he could have at least made contact with the club during negotiations. Call it professional courtesy. There is a view that it was his silence that lead to IT being signed in the first place.

If / when Dragic goes and Bledsoe is fully running this team my hunch tells me Bledsoe is more like Marbury, with great stats but bad team results, rather than Nash with great stats and great team results. Of course, I'm referring to Dragic in last year's team when I say that i think it's Dragic who's the better team general.

Time will tell anyway.

Coulda been handled MUCH better . Although I'm NOT a huge believer in Dragic as some others are , I did admire the way he carried himself,,,,,,,,UNTIL TODAY , When he and his agent decided to go public .
