I am happy that Markieff is gone but I am not a fan of this trade. Protected first round pick? Hard to imagine that they could have not gotten more for him last Summer or earlier in the season before he threw a towel at Hornacek and attacked Goodwin.

Damn, so I bet we been holding out for Oubre for a while now and the Wizards weren't willing to budge. The pick was probably top 10 protected and so McD wanted to feel like a winner and asked if they dropped it to top 9 protected he would trade them Kieff.

Jesus man if we hadn't traded Kieff at all you'd be singing an entirely different tune! You, out of all people on the Suns forum should be ecstatic that we traded Kieff for anything!
Yeah I wish we got more, but meh, still a win... kind of.

How could you not be happy with a pick likely to be between 11-16? Or are you just never happy? I thought you wanted him gone for anything. I don't think we could have gotten more at any time really.
