250lbs is pretty good for Chriss. I think it's even too much... if you arent LeBron, better be careful when you get heavier.

Reading between the lines on that interview says Chandler is going NOWHERE. He's here because he wants to be.

But regarding Knight, I'm still not sure why so many feel he'd be so hard to move....

May be its because you can sign Aaron Affalo, Aaron Brooks, Brandon Jennings, Tony Allen, etc etc for a couple million, FAR LESS... and you dont have to deal with rebuilding the fragile mind of Knight.

Why is that so hard to understand? McDo is the one who staked millions on this guy. Why would any other GM take the same chance.... when it is even money Knight will be waived.

It will take taking on a bad contract or attaching picks to a team like the NEts Knicks or Hawks as they are rebuilding

The Thunder are supposedly at or above luxury tax level - trading Kanter for Knight saves them 4.2m of salary which is much more in dollars if no lux tax. Suns save 8m dollars since Kanter is only owed 36m and Knight 44 - but Kanter is cleared in summer of 2019; Knight is through 2020. So that could be an option

I think Len will be back if they want him. Nobody has offered him, that I know of - anything.

Same age range as Oladipo and Turner. Ample opportunity to rehab his value in the leastern conference. Much cheaper than the other options.

I'm just surprised he wasn't flipped for Monta Ellis, who was just waived (expiring). I though Ellis had a Player option for 2018-19 but it turns out it was a Team option.

They just signed Collison so I think they have their PG.

Kelly O to the Heat probably works better as with Whiteside, do not need the low post defense or rebounding. You knew Riley was going to do something

That Heat pick - if healthy just became non lottery. So probably pick 15 through 18. So, good pick but not top 10

The sky is the limit for Chriss. Huge upside.

Well, it probably helped he was "late to free agency." Teams that were shut out had cash to spend . Granted, he didn't get close to Hayward money but he probably got into a nice little bidding war which upped the ante. Heat - without Bosh, had the cap space.

OOps - spoke too fast - heat may not have as much cap space as I thought

The Heat got decent value deals for Olynyk and Waiters. Both could've been worth a lot more just one offseason ago. Perhaps last offseason was just a bunch of teams blowing their load early but it's good to see more reasonable deals being signed.

Heat pick was already non lottery. They were the best team in the east the last half of last year. Pick has always likely been late teens but probably at worst low 20s.

KO isn't that good. He's a decent stretch big, but not a good rebounder or shot blocker. I figured Miami might be after him since they have Whiteside so a stretch big next to him is pretty valuable to stretch the floor. He averaged less than 5 boards a game though and like .4 bpg. He played in the low 20 minutes so he could probably avg a couple more rebounds if he plays like 30 something minutes. Not a great 3 pt shooter but decent at like 35%.

Heat lacks that superstar but pushing for playoffs... for some reason you just know they are waiting for an opportunity to pounce.

Dragic, Waiters, Winslow, T.Johnson, J.Johnson, Olynyk, Whiteside as your main rotation is meh as is.

That's unusual but very doable.

Maybe he wants to buy a yacht and a house upfront rather than wait 2 months to pay it off (wow, I cant even imagine paying off million dollar houses and things within a 20 years of purchasing them let alone weeks lol)

Still not trading the Heat picks. Need as much ammo as possible to trade up in 2018.

he's about as good as prime Frye with room to improve as the starting 4 (I would assume), and Dragic + stretch 4/5 means a several game jump record-wise.

this Heat team could basically become a rich-man's version of the '14 Suns if most everything goes according to plan

it seems the Suns previous trades of past white PGs has not paid off lol after initially looking like GREAT deals

Nash: Lakers nearly missed the lottery in '13, instead they made the playoffs and the pick was converted to the last of the first round. That ended up as Archie Goodwin and the other one (quite possibly a top 5 pick) was traded in a deal that acquired Knight.

Dragic: Wade leaves, Bosh is forced into medical retirement, rumors of trading Dragic and blowing it up after having one of the worst records around January this year. Instead they made a surprise turnaround midseason and could quite possibly be a playoff team for the next few years

If Pelicans implode early... I'd make the sell-the-farm offer for Davis.
EVERYONE, minus maybe Booker and Jackson... need offense/defense at the perimeter. EVERY pick the Suns own, Chriss, Bender etc. The works!

I'd move everyone. I'd even consider putting Booker on the table although it makes sense to pair him with AD
