Pretty good display shooting-wise from Bogdan in his last Turkish league game. Started 4/4 for 3PT in the first quarter, also 2/2 in the deciding moments of a close loss(one of those counted as 2 since his toe was on the line).

Good game again. Bogdan scored 17 pts, in low-scoring game, against Lokomotiv Kuban. He also had 6 rebounds, 3 assist. In the match between two best team in group E Euroleague, Fenerbahce won 55-52.

Do you watch these games? How is Jan Vesely these days? Every time I look at those box scores I see that he played the most minutes but never seems to do much other than get a lot of fouls.

I watch Fenerbahce in Euroleague, almost every game, but rarely in turkish national championship. Jan is one of their most important player, especially in defence, coach respects him and always has a lot of minutes. Also, ex Hawks big man, Pero Antic missed today`s game because of an injury, so Jan played even more than usual.

Vesely has a $28M offer from the NBA and Fenerbahçe is trying to keep him. He does a lot of things that don't show up on the boxscore.

As for tonight, it was a heck of a game. Both teams put on defensive clinic. Bogdan didn't shy away from taking responsibilities in big moments. Lately he and Booker been playing really similar games in terms of shooting, passing and basketball IQ.

$28M offer from what team? Does Denver still hold his rights? I read that teams may have interest when he is a FA this summer.

With European bigs still in favor among NBA front offices, that could earn Vesely a recall across the Atlantic when he is a free agent again next summer. However, once bitten, twice shy -- it is an option he is hesitant to commit to.

"I'm not even thinking about the NBA now," he says. "This season I will be in Turkey. That's as far as I look."

But Welsch, who has seen Vesely up close for the past two months, has few doubts he could deliver on his promise with a second go-round.

"He was ready before," he added. "But in the NBA, and I know from my experience, you have to be in the right place at the right time. In those three years, he wasn't in the right place. If he chooses to go there again, and I hope he does, I think he will show he belongs."

His #s don't seem much better than when he came over before, except he has doubled his rebounding #s. It might be misleading though, because I'm not sure if Fenerbahce is a lot tougher competition than Partizan.

Bogdan really seems to have improved his 3 pt shooting over the years..

Could be any team. Team executive mentioned it in an interview and added "don't worry fans, we'll keep him". I could see him leaving if they win the Euroleague.

I love that Bogdan is playing well. Even if we never get him, he becomes a valuable trade asset.

Len, Bogdan and say Archie is a nice young package of players with value. If a team felt they had to move a player like Cousins or Blake, it could be a good place to open the conversation.

I love Bogdans game and i really hope he comes over ext year. I think he is ready to come over. He is a strong mentality guy with a good character and a goos Basketball IQ. I really understand the game. I hope he can play the 3 in the NBA. Give **** non productive Tucker away, he brings us nothing. And give the SF Minutes to Warren and Bogdan. Would love it

I'm not sure what makes people think Bogdan can play SF in NBA. For FB he plays SG, sometimes PG and players are generally more athletic, strong in NBA. I guess he can do it in some small-ball situations, against lesser competition, but the good SFs will kill him.

Agreed. I can only see him playing the 3 against backups. He is only 6'6 and 200 pounds and he is a better playmaker than rebounder, and while OK athletically he is not an uber athlete nor has an eye popping wingspan. If he comes over he can (should?) get 20 mins as a backup 1-2-3 though as he is a very gifted player.
I really hope he comes over this summer, and we clear some space (playingtime) from our somewhat jammed 1-2-3 rotation.

Bogdan has height and wingspan of Andre Iguodala (6'6'' + 6'11'') and just a few kilos less. Certainly, he is lacking that elite, NBA leaping ability, but i don't see a problem with him playing some minutes at 3. It will be pretty demanding for him physically, and wouldn't be surprised to see him struggle at start, but time to adapt is needed whether you're coming to NBA from college or overseas.

There's no doubt that Bogdan is naturally a SG, and one can not deny that, but given the structure of our roster, some people here (including me) believe that he will be 'forced' to play certain amount of minutes at SF also.

Not to be a negative Nancy, but we were all high on Zoran Dragic and he couldn't cut it in the NBA.

When we drafted BB, most agreed he was not yet as good as Zoran. Has that changed?

Who the heck said this. I never saw Dragic as anything more than a companion for his brother. He wasn't even remotely close to being the caliber of player that Bogdanovic is.

I remember draft guru Fischella said he would be a better rookie than Warren.
