Went to look for some Thomas Robinson highlights. This seems like exactly the kind of guy that we need. I know this was career game for him, an outlier for sure, but he hustles, he runs the floor, plays with size and isn't afraid to make bold defensive plays. Also seems like he's going to take advantage of every opportunity he gets.

Sign him, McD!

At least you mentioned it was an outlier. The guy backed up the twins in college, and has been cut by multiple teams now, so I don't know how I feel about committing dollars to him for multiple years, but if it isn't much money, I guess I don't care, as long as it doesn't somehow squeeze Warren out of the rotation since Marcus will probably get more minutes at the 3 instead of 4 if TRob gets minutes at the 4.

When did he back them up in college???? He was actually the #1 on Kansas not a back up

his first 2 years at Kansas he came off the bench. his junior year (twins' nba rookie year) he started and was one of the best players in the country, hence 5th overall pick

Same talk should go for the twins.

I think it would be great to get TRob, I think it would be the one guy Markieff wouldn't mind sharing minutes with besides his brother. Could be a huge positive. Duffy client? :o Hopefully TRob, says,"You work for me, get me on PHX."

Side note, Malcom Thomas was waived. That guy can rebound the ball.

I remember a couple years ago I was sitting like 2nd or 3rd row at a Suns summer league game in Vegas. The Morris twins were playing and Thomas Robinson was sitting in the seat directly in front of me for the entire game, inches away from me. I knew that Robinson and the twins were close so I was trying to make sure I didn't say anything bad because he would easily hear anything I say....

It was a close game in the 4th quarter and Markieff had missed his last 3 or 4 shots that were all contested jumpers. In crunch time, Markieff got the ball and took a very difficult contested 20 footer and clanked it. Off of pure instinct I screaming "Stop freaking doing that!" which immediately prompted 6'10 240lb Thomas Robinson to turn around and give me by far the most intimidating death stare that I have ever been on the receiving end of in my life.

Just thought I'd share. Looking back it was pretty funny

I think the biggest problem is Goran's other agent, Rade Filipovich. Goran was in Hawaii during the ASB hanging out with Filipovich and his Laker fan son then all of the sudden he turned into a total piece of ****.

This Dragic situation is so bizarre that I do wonder if there is some inside deal going on that was staged.

Re-up Knight
Resign Dragic
Trade Blesdoe to Cleveland

or

Resign Dragic
S&T Knight

T-Rob just from a hustle standpoint might be good for this team. I still like one of the mockdraft conclusions on him though,
"Overall: Robinson is one of the safer picks around the top of the draft ... He has the tools and the work ethic to become an ideal pick-and-roll/pick-and-pop kind of power forward ... Once Robinson polishes his post moves and jump shot, he should be a fixture in a team's starting lineup for a long time ... A likely top-5 pick ..."

If TROB is managed by Duffy doesn't that almost certainly mean he won't come to Phoenix. Sad because I want him but that's a massive negative for us.

We have no energy guy. PJ was that guy in his first year with the team but now you don't really notice his energy.

Hopefully T-Rob can be that guy (and the #TeamFOE bs doesn't get to their heads).

Here's my only concern with adding Robinson...

..adding Marcus has led to both Marcus & Kieff to become an ass on the court (and maybe off the court as well?") with all his techs and arguing etc.

Will adding Robinson making that problem even bigger or worse, create a new problem?

Does he listen to his brothers or his agent?

T-Rob has 7'3 wingspan.
I'm more than ok with his signing.

As long as we don't spend any of our cap on Green. Both myself and TJ Warren will be seriously upset if that happens.

I'd tentatively say it would be okay, since most of the remaining guys like/are liked by the Morris twins. Archie, Green, Len, Bled all like/are liked by them, so I would think adding another one to the squad would be okay.

If he signs..

He'll probably move in with the Morris's.... in that case he wont need a big salary, Markieff has his back.

2 million a year sounds good.
