How did we so dramatically regress in our team FT %? Weren't we near the top during the first half of the season? Its not like we're even getting to the line more to give us a larger margin for error

This has literally been the theme of the Suns ever since Hornacek took over. Look good one night against a contender and then get embarrassed by a bad team by a team that's on a back to back at home.

Damn, that's some premature hate. We had a terrible half and we're only down like 8 points. Lay an egg? Repost that at the end of the game, bro.

You can tell by Cousins body language that he's gonna go off in the 2nd half. We need to be ready to handle it and ready to double asap.

Goodwin will have to continue to play well because it looks like Bledsoe (3-7 shooting, 1 assist) may have already checked out of the game.

It's almost criminal that Cousins doesnt touch the ball in EVERY possession.
He always makes something happen out of nowhere. Complete stud.

turnovers and missed FTs are hurting us but still shooting 50% from the field and a slight edge in the boards. only down 5 with a whole half to go, all left to play for. big shot from archie to cut the lead and get some momentum at the buzzer

If we were down 8 to like OKC or something sure I'd say that's pretty good. Down 8 to a SAC Kings team that's tired after playing last night and barely beating the PHILADELPHIA 76ers AND playing IN PHOENIX, is laying an egg.

You have to look at the circumstances too.

Assuming that we have hardly improved, its my assumption that Hornacek hasn't had them work on it. This is the pros, and its not like we have any Shaq type players...I think if FTs were worked on enough, we wouldn't be this bad from the line.

It applies to us because we've had guys half ass it all season on defense. Now when guys go to the line they're gassed instead of tired. And it being the pros is why I don't see any real improvement happening. Its not like any of our guys have bad form on their FT shot, they just don't make them in games consistently. I'm willing to bet in practice our entire rotation shoots 75% or above.

It's not like they don't have studs on their team. Cousins is arguably the best big in the NBA. They have a great coach. It's not a scrub team. Their record doesn't indicate how good they actually can be.

If our record was solely based off talent we would be near the bottom in the West.

Looks like we'll have to hustle our way back in this game. PJ and Len lead the way

Doesn't matter, Kings are the easiest remaining team for the Suns on their schedule. This is a "must win" ball game, other than Cousins that roster doesn't have much. There's a reason their 24-45. I don't care about "how good they actually can be", the TWolves "actually can be" top 3 team in the West based on the potential they have on their team and yet their not.

Don't make excuses for this pathetic effort.

You think if Cousins demands a trade another team could put together a better package than what we could give? A S&T Brandon Knight (or Bled if this isn't possible or as plausible), Len, Archie, two 1st from us, two 1st we got from the Heat? Or is that too much from our end?

We're going to have to hit from outside if we want to win. That's all there is to it. I'd love to see a shot chart for the whole team right now. It's bad. Not to sound like a broken record, but if the defecit hits 10 again, you gotta consider throwing in Green. Just for 8 minutes. If he's hot, great, if not, oh well.

Tucker, you are done shooting. 1/9 is unacceptable. Just play defense.

What's the point of bringing Boogie if we're gunna gut the roster?

Tucker seems to be shooting us out of this one. His D may not be as important as someone else's offense. We're really just getting killed by Cousins and Macallum.

Idk Bled is the closest thing to a PG we have on this roster.

I was saying Knight and Archie would be good coming off the bench. Our staring backcourt would remain Bled -Tucker. We need Knights shooting on the bench mob.
