Assuming the Suns go 8-0, they need this many losses from each team:

Memphis: 2--4 Losses so far
Portland: 3--1 Loss
Pelicans: 3--3 Losses!
Kings: 3--3 Losses!
Spurs: 2--2 Losses!

The Jazz are sitting 4 starters vs San Antonio.

Why?! Jazz need the win to stay ahead of the Thunder for "homecourt" advantage. They could potentially drop to 6th place and play the chicken nuggies in the 1st round.

We're 10th above Pels, Kings and Spurs(.002 difference). Just gotta keep winning and hope for a couple losses from Memphis and Portland.

Or Memphis. 8-0 Suns can also in if the Grizzlies have 3 more losses.

Do we still have a chance if we don't go 8-0? Say 7-1?

If all the other teams fighting for it continue to lose, yes. Suns basically need to just focus on winning and hope the Blazers or Grizzlies lose out.

Yep, if the Suns go 7-1 and the Grizz go 1-7 that'll do it!

So if we go 7-1 and Grizz go 1-7, then Portland doesn't factor in?

There will probably be a 3 way tie for 8th and we will lose the tiebreaker to both the other teams.

Suns would play Portland in the play-in tournament, depending on how many games Portland wins. Whoever is in 8 and 9 will have play-in games, doesn't have to be Grizz. If Portland moves into 8th and Suns are 9th, the Suns have to beat Portland twice, or vice versa. Grizzlies have the tiebreaker with the Suns though, so if Suns and Grizzlies are tied for 9th in record, the Grizzlies would play the Blazers and have to win 2 in a row. That assumes the other teams keep losing games. There's 3 games tomorrow with huge impact for the Suns.

That would be the most Suns' thing to happen.

If the Suns go 8-0 and tie with the grizzlies for 9th, the grizzlies should just drop out and let the suns take the play in game. It’s the right thing to do.
And every other nba team should peer-pressure them into doing it.

Damn, I don’t see Portland losing more than 1 game to finish their season. If we’re going to catch anyone it’ll be Memphis who has a brutal schedule. The Suns could go 8-0 and still miss out the playoffs or play-in game. Regardless on how it finishes, proud how this team has played under Monty Williams.

Blazers are scorching hot from down town hitting 11-18 3s. That wont continue in the 2nd half. They may lead by 13 now but once their threes stop falling the Nuggets will cut the deficit.

Too many Nuggets players out. I would be shocked if Portland loses this game.

They've been missing Murray, Harris & Barton in their first 3 games and have managed to beat OKC and Spurs with their only lose to the Heat. They play tough regardless who they miss. Seems as if their always 8-9 man deep even with a few players out. What sucks is the Nuggets played yesterday and cant even get a day off to prepare for Blazers. Still one half left hope for the best.

They’re very deep! Paul Millsap is out, too. We need MPJ to ball!!! Cmon Denver.

Denver's a deep team. Grant and Morris are spot starter level anyways, and Porter would've been starting for them if he played like this all year. They just need to get stops and hold them down from 3. Portland, particularly Trent, has been killing teams from deep.
