He's slowly but surely getting MVP buzz. I don't think he's gonna over take Biid, but I see no reason why he can't be top 3-and maybe runner-up if Joker slows down/Denver starts losing.

I still marvel at that pass. To generate that much force to be able to zip a bounce pass through such a tight opening is incredible and to do it with pinpoint accuracy to a slashing player is just icing on the cake.

I feel like he should have been the MVP leader with how dominant we've been. But given some of the stats the MVPs have been posting (they all seem to be getting easy triple doubles) the last few years it probably would never happen. Yet to be fair to CP3, I feel like his 10.7 assists is about the equivalent of 13 rpg, and he's right up there in spg at 1.9, so he's still been posting some big lines.

Sad to see he won't be able to make a chase for it now, but it's probably for the best he gets a lot of rest before the playoffs.

That distinction was previously held by Steve Nash, also for the Suns, in Game 1 of the 2010 West Conf Semis.
