WTF is going on with Booker this year!

Who knows. I think one thing may be that he isnt used to resting throughout the game so much. He used to be in there for as many minutes as possible, thus allowing him to stay warm and get himself in a groove feasting on the opposing teams bench unit......where now he sits much much sooner and for much longer.

Booker isnt some1 who wants 70 point games.

Book wants WINS.

He doesnt care how or who gets them.

Booker is a true competitor.

Lets be real, Booker wants both. He wants the wins and he wants to be "The Man". You know damn well he wouldnt be happy in a bench role on a perennial title contending team like the Lakers. He wants to be the star and get the wins. But all i was stating is that he isnt able to get himself in a rhythm playing against a bench squad anymore because he is siting out and resting.

Also regarding Booker, I think we need to get him some Rip Hamilton / Ray Allen type looks. We utilize him as a playmaker too much and he needs to get them threes going too.

Yes, isn't Rip one of his favorite players? Honestly if he could mostly be like a Ray Allen, he'd be great. Ray Allen was good as the alpha dog on the Sonics during our 04-05 season but as fun as that team was with Rashard Lewis and I can't remember who else, Ray was better suited with how he was utilized in Milwaukee, Boston and Miami...and he could always still get his own when needed.

Yeah, other than that bad pass off the backboard, he has been fine. Made a couple of his nice Booker-esque shots.

It is weird he seems like our 7th or 8th best 3 pt shooter during games though.

Though he does try too many pull up 3s.

11 up at the half, on the road, against a contender and Booker has 6pts. DA with a great 13/7 while playing really good team D. That's a GREAT position to be in.

I haven't seen any booker hate at all. We're just so used to him being the focus of the offense, and it's obvious that he's still figuring things out this season.
