Jazz had the same record at home as the Clips and Kings last year even though they ended up in 12th place. They play well at home.

They are 4-8. We have pulled the same thing to the UNBELIEVABLY AWFUL Spurs team twice and also a much unimproved Laker team. This is not because Utah is somehow good. We are underachieving relative to talent level as we have all year. We need to improve on fundamental aspects of team basketball beyond just getting Booker or Beal back.

We should still win this because we just overwhelm them talent-wise but this is not some good victory

Shot clock violation turnover in a 1 possession game, followed by Nurkic helping for NO REASON when Grayson is already the primary defender and there, and he leaves Collins WIDE OPEN again who hits another game tying 3. These mental mistakes have been there all year. That is why I have been pissed about this team. It has to improve and it's not been improving. Our decision-making and effort level should be getting better as the season goes on. Instead everybody on this team seems to have just been waiting for Booker to save us.

And now we're waiting for Beal to save us.

And it's like, okay, maybe they will. Maybe we'll score 150 a game and dominate, but we should be SO MUCH BETTER today than we are with the guys we do have available, and title teams usually maximize their available talent.
