Ryan Dunn was the only one playing well yesterday.

All of our PGs (Collins, Boogie Ellis, Schumacher) were outplayed by the Kings PGs.

Brea, Oso and Maluach all played pretty bad. Not only bad at shooting, but all of them were uncomfortable against defensive pressure.

Oso 1/8.
Brea 1/9.
Maluach 3/9.

Well, to the next one.

Nice to see Dunn was good even with nobody else playing well. He's the only one who's going to play meaningful minutes during the season anyway. Oso and Brea may have not given full effort with 3 games in 4 days. Maluach doesn't have this excuse, only being 18yo.

Is MIN game the last of SL if they lose again ?

Maluach is too gangly and doesn't play with much leverage. He's definitely a project.

On Suns side I'm often confused with Ryan and Oso, now I can't tell who's who between Fleming and Huntley if I don't look at the numbers.

Fleming displayed some self-creation skills on these two plays.

I thought Fleming was a bright spot in his limited minutes. I hope he gets to see the court more.

Also they have him playing out of position. Coach Carroll needs to do something about that. Why is he at top of key and handling ball that far through traffic. Post him up and give him some plays under the hoop. He had a size advantage and they didn't do anything with it.

Summer league is a waste of time. It’s evolved into a hyped up nba event that is short on basketball and long on celebrity/player sightings.

It’s basically a GLeague try out camp.

Yep, that and preseason games. Last time I remember meaningful preseason games (when they played 8-10) was the first season of SSOL. Knew right away from those games that the Nash lead Suns were going to be a force.

I only caught the highlights but I saw some worrying signs. Didn't get a lot of lift on his shot, out of position on defensee, seemed like he nearly got injured out there on one play.

SL is worthless. Guys can look like trash in SL and go on to have awesome careers, and vice versa.

Hansen yang looks pretty great. Further along than maluach, to my great surprise.

Ho hum, I know it means nothing.

Yea, the chinese wonderboy looks great tbh... fluid, makes good, smart (and some hard to pull off) plays, seems like he gives effort too - Portland might have something

Suns not looking very sharp today, having given up a 16 point lead early.

I’m sorry but I’m going there.

Maluach Sucks!

The same people who drooled over Josh Jackson are the same people who drooled/drooling over Maluach.

Yeah it’s only been 4 summer league games and not a single one of them proved he is a capable NBa player now or in the future.

I said this when the blazers took him. I trust Mike Schmidt’s scouting eye.

Didn't watch this game but how did the big man look? The -19 +/- is awful

He definitely is more NBA ready so maybe Portland knew what they were doing when they drafted him so high.

I imagined Maluach to be a little more NBA ready as far as defense goes but he hasn't exactly been impressive either on that end so it makes me wonder why the FO took a flyer on a project that won't be ready for at least another 2 years when the message from the FO seems to be that they want to win now?

I’d say the box score tells the story and I’d say go with your gut on how you think he preformed and you are prob right.
