The suns are linked to thad rumors because it makes sense. Any team looking for picks for a relatively young guy who's under contract past this year will be linked to the suns by the media because the suns have so many picks. And realistically if they can upgrade talent by dealing some of next years picks them by all means they should make the deal. To me it's about maximizing asset and upgrading the talent level through all avenues: draft, trades and free agents.

To add to that; I don't think any team that's actually trying to win right now has more/better future draft picks that could be dealt for the veterans the tanking teams will be trying to trade. Get ready for a ton of rumors or the next month.

Oh yeah, I definitely think the Suns are likely interested in him at the right price. I think Philly would kind of like to keep him though, and if they do trade him, will wait for the best offer right near the deadline.

Terrence Ross the boss!!.. 51 points!!

I wanted suns to make a move or him earlier this season.

Would be ideal SF/SG if Suns can't get Hayward!!

But now he just upped his value another 33% lol

DeRozan was more advanced at the same age. I tend to favor him or Hayward should we target a wing.

I'd like to see them play on a good team that's well coached, especially Gordy who has endured 3 years of Ty Corbin...

I say we go big and sign both Melo and Love in the off season.

Love and Melo are like the 2 apparently star players who can't lead their team to win... In Melo's case, he is just a playoff type star player... Not a championship option 1.

I'm starting to really like him as at he starting SF for us if Utah's ready to deal to him for picks.

Nice block.

He plays hard and smart on both ends, has a sweet shot and can create for others. Basically the perfect 3 for Horny that's not named Lebron or Durant.

Also, if you watch Jazz games, he DOES get double teamed and even triple teamed at times and still putting up those all-around, decent stats.

Love? Yes. Melo? Absolutely not.

Focus on Hayward and Love, or hope the Heat implode at some point this season and disband, then throw literally everything you have at LeBron.

This HeyWord hype may be justified... but if he is all that many crack him up to be, why would utah part with him?
It looks like purely a cash/salary situation if they let him go. Rebuilding teams can't do that with their youngsters who excel. Gotta pay 'em to keep 'em. I don't see why they'd be interested in more draft picks as young as they are.... but I guess if they land a coveted SF in the draft, then may be so. Just doesn't seem likely, or rather, it falls into the same 'wishing for Love well'.

What was the reason Goodwin goes down to the D-League for a few games ? It doesn't seem like a 'get your confidence back' maneuver.... else he would have remained longer. Perhaps it was to show his health to some other team ? Deadline is coming up.... and if I am dealing with the Suns, he is going to be a toss in I ask for.
What ? Me Worry ?

Am I the only one who prefers Stephenson to Hayward? Or could we get them both and let Bledsoe go?

Dragic/Lance/Hayward sounds fun to me.

What is the fans opinion on Markieff Morris? Would he be available in a trade? For Philly, would a Hawes-Turner deal be of any interest?

Young is the one that would probably "fit" with McDonoughs and Hornacek ideas for suns. Hawes I can say we have no interest for(doesnt fit the mold and we have Frye) and Turner vs Markieff doesnt move the needle enough(if at all), besides Markieffs contract is still an asset, Turners one is not that attractive.

Maybe suns would do both twins+ind pick for Thad.

Love isn't a FA. Melo is playing his arse off though. Nine rebounds per game playing the 4...

Actually, I would say he fits exactly what the Suns like to do. He can hit the 3 ball, he's young, and he's highly skilled. If the Suns believe he and Plumlee could play on the court at the same time, I could see them being interested in him.

Hawes and Plumlee going forward... No thanks.

We will never get to promise land with that.

I'm not saying that's our franchise frontcourt going forward. I wasn't even implying both would start. All I was saying that it comes down to whether the Suns believe they could have both players on the court at the same time and it not be a disadvantage.

I like Hayward better than Stephenson cause Stephenson is undersized to play SF and Bledsoe is a better than him at the 2.
